Palmerston Suites

Due to the weather being so hot the room felt like a sauna - there was a fan in the room but it didn’t blow out cold air. Room on top floor no lift this wasn’t made clear when booking. Pillows could do with renewing.

Struttura vecchia ma mal restaurata. Stanze all'ultimo piano pagate 150 euro a notte sono invivibili. Siamo stati durante il bank holiday quando ad Edimburgo si sono registrate temperature di 26⁰ gradi durante il giorno. A causa del solaio e della coibentazione inesistente in camera il termostato segnava 37⁰ di sera. Non abbiamo potuto chiudere occhio. Ho chiesto di cambiare stanza e me lo hanno negato.
Si sono degnati di fornire un pinguino che da un lato mandava aria fredda e dall altro il doppio del calore.

Estaba en un sótano.

Poca cura dei dettagli alcuni risolvibili con bassa spesa (divano inutile, mancanza di appendini a muro, appendini rotti sulla porta del bagno, Wi-Fi pessimo, riscaldamento inutile sulle scale, mancanza di luggage room, snack/colazione)

The property had bedbugs and I was bitten from head to toe after staying in the property. I accidently locked my bag in my room and despite calling the emergency number no-one responded for 4 hours, at which time I discovered they kept a key in the shared mailboxes so anyone could access it, at any time and get into any room.

When I did manage to get back in people arriving late were left stranded at the door with no access and no-one answering the phone.

I've had no response from the property about any of the issues. They took my money and didn't acknowledge any of the serious health and safety concerns. They couldn't be less interested.

The bed was utterly uncomfortable, the shower doors did not close, the mirror and its tablet were unstable and I didn’t feel like I was getting what I had paid for.

My criticism is as with any place I travel…. Carpeting! I highly recommend bare floors. Easier to clean, no lingering smells or odd stains. The reason I say this is because when going down to where our flat was the strong smell of cat urine was overwhelming to add to this , the rug pattern was very disorienting. I nearly fell down a couple of times. This place was very clean but in need of updating.

Le falta una mesa y sillas ya que dispone de cocina. Yo cambiaría el sofá por ello.

As we had booked the room for 3 people, the pull out bed, was very uncomfortable, the springs need to be replaced.

The main bed was comfy.

No elevator

The tap/facet in the kitchen was very loose.
The bathroom was narrow and some of the fixtures were loose.
