Best vacation ever!
Pros:

Such a beautiful hotel. Love the midecor and the staff was amazing. Everything in walking distance very convenient. Love the sound of the river! We will definitely be back to stay next time we visit Puerto Vallarta

This hotel has so much character. The staff made our trip top notch. They are on top of things, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area to give great recommendations. Best location to be walkable to everything but not in the noisy mix.

Loved the decor and the staff was so warm and welcoming, A very comfortable little gem. The view from the terrace was breathtaking especially from the infinity pool Breakfast was delicious as were the snacks on the terrace

Pros:

After a busy week of non-stop activity in CDMX, this place was perfect for activating “chill mode”. Before arrival the team was very communicative via text. Victor is my hero! - I arrived hours later than expected due to the airport closing its airspace for a few hours. Victor was so understanding and very gracious when I came in late and requested a room change after being unsatisfied with the one I was assigned. The room was massive and absolutely gorgeous with lots of fun colors and accents. Fantastic view from the private balcony, and I was obsessed with the bathroom - separate jetted bathtub and a shower (rainfall showerhead) with windows that opened to the outside. I purposefully sought out a place that was in a more quiet area, and this delivered. There is plenty to do (shopping, dining, sightseeing) within a short 10-minute walk, and the beach about a 15 minute walk, but I spent about 85% of my time in PV at the hotel. Breakfast is available every morning on the second floor - nothing life changing, but did the job. Victor helped me schedule a massage in my room - the masseuse was professional and effective! I spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool with ocean views lounging, reading, enjoying Ivan’s mojitos and Ruben’s margaritas. Also great for a midnight swim! Rooms cleaned daily. The only con I can think of was that I only had hot water 2 of the 4 nights, but it was so sweltering hot that I actually enjoyed taking cold showers, so not really a bad thing I guess. Overall, Rivera del Rio is charming, filled with fun surprises, and was exactly what I needed in a little R&R. Team is so kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again! Oh and you HAVE to watch the sunset from the roof!

Good place to stay while quickl trip to beautiful Puerto vallarte

Location was good easy to walk to city center and the beach, the area is secure. Staff were super friendly and helped with our needs.
