The stay was ok (despite me having to wipe down the toilet seat with a stain and wipe soap scrum out of the soap dish in the bathtub). The experience actually went downhill after we checked out. I brought (2) collector Car and Driver collector magazines from year 1990 along with a night time reading device. I inadvertently left them on the floor beside the bed the night before our departure after reading them. After checking out, I discovered that I had left the magazines and reading device. I called back to the hotel to see if housekeeping had found and set them aside. When I called back, a front desk agent advised they would ask the housekeeping manager if they had been retrieved and that I would receive a call back the next day. I did not receive a call back the next day. Long story short, after at least 6 calls to the hotel and 15 days later, I never received a call back. When I was able to call myself and speak to the front desk manager, Felicia, she advised they had not been found and that they had probably been thrown away. I called back again today after searching Ebay for replacements to ask if there was some way the hotel could compensate me for the collector magazines that had apparently been thrown away. I thought that it was only fair since there was no reason for them and the obvious reading device to have been thrown away. Felicia very rudely advised me that there was "no compensation for me and that her housekeepers barely speak English and probably didn't know what the magazines and reading device even were." I found that insulting to the housekeepers and I told her so. Them not speaking English had nothing to do with the matter and she shouldn't have brought it up. I asked for the general manager or owner's info and she said, "there is no owner" and, "you can call Hilton to complain." Never again will we stay at this hotel. All because of Felicia and her terrible attitude and manner in which she handles their GUESTS.
Good hotel, good parking, friendly staff. I’ve stayed many times (approx every three months).
Breakfast was okay. Location was good and price was good.
Your pillows on the bed were flat.
Everything was wonderful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was great for 2 days of visiting the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Breakfast was hot with a variety of choices. Gerri, at the front desk, was kind and helpful and full of energy. She helped make our stay great, along with the other front desk personnel who we met.
Neat
Couldn’t call it home.
The staff was excellent, Sam is probably the nicest person I’ve met.

Everything was fine
The location was great. , very close to a main expressway. Breakfast was very good, lots of different choices to choose from. Staff was friendly and professional.
We were placed in a room that was close to an exterior door which would normally be fine but this particular door had no soft close mechanism. All night long all we heard was the slamming of that door which made sleeping difficult. The shower curtain didn't extend all the way to the shower floor so water water ran onto the bathroom floor. We had to use our towels to mop up all the water.
The breakfast was okay. No danishes or turkey bacon or sausage.
Offer pancakes for an option.
I travel for business on a regular basis. This Hampton has by far the worst breakfast and is the dirtiest I have ever been too. Look for another place to stay.
