A very nice trip ruined by terrible staff service.

Cons:

Staff service. We were checked into our room, but 20 minutes later another couple was brought to the same room after staff unlocked it with a master key. Their dog ran into our room, forcing the owner to come inside to retrieve it. The apology was inadequate, only improving after we requested complimentary breakfast.
We also had ongoing maintenance issues: the sink took three complaints and three days to be fixed, while the shower never drained properly or was repaired.
The payment process was unacceptable. Despite choosing to pay at the property, the hotel charged my card without authorisation and added an undisclosed €100 pre-authorisation. This was never explained or agreed to.
Finally, when we raised these issues at checkout, the receptionist's only response was "Okay," showing a complete lack of concern.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Hotel had veel te bieden. Goede kamers, goed ontbijt, fijne bar om ‘s avonds nog een drankje te drinken.

Pros:

La ubicación y el desayuno son excelentes. Hotel tranquilo y personal muy amable.

Cons:

La primera mañana hubo algo de ruido a las 8 porque estaban de obras en la planta de arriba.
Tampoco me gustó que no tuviera minibar. Te obliga a comprar en su tienda las cosas frías.

We greatly enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Beautifully decorated, great location, and very friendly staff.

Cons:

The mattress was not very comfortable, but I am sure this will no longer be an issue once the renovations have been completed.
