Had a lovely breakaway with my son in Brisbane staying in such nice apartments.
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff. Apartment was roomy and comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was great. Would highly recommend The Astor Apartments to family and friends. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a bit of a shock when we walked in - it looked uncared for. Furniture and decor ordinary

Cons:

Lots of maintenance required. Bathroom shower screen, sofa collapsed at one end, low wattage light bulbs - can't read at night, bandaid tape on fire alarm bit grubby in spots. Wardrobe doors fall out of rails

Great Location Friendly Service
Pros:

Great location. Coffee shop right across, 5mins walk down to Central Train Station and can easily get on the city loop.

Cons:

The AC wasn't really working, despite being turned on.

Also didn't see any heater the apartment to warm up.

Happy to stay again. Close to hopital.

Cons:

Drains in bathroom were very slow to clear. It could have had a better clean. It was dusty around the bathroom corners. The entry needed painting.

The location was quite good but the shower and broken shutters were a problem.
Pros:

Good size and location. Kitchen was good, Washing machine and dryer were useful.

Cons:

Missing shutters in bedroom meant it was very bright early morning. Shower in the bath and made it difficult to get into.

The location on Spring Hill with number of coffee shops and restaurants was excellent

A few of the white goods like the washer and dryers not working, and the aircon needs improvement or replacements immediately

Cons:

Room is dated quite badly, at the bare minimum needs a fresh paint. Couch was very well worn, bed was comfortable, but the absolute bare minimum is being maintained to keep this as a rental.
