My room had no accessories or even a bowl for my fruit, I had to order my own flowers for floral, but after I upgraded rooms my actual room was fantastic and enjoyed it but have just never stayed In a room at that price with no accessories, art, or floral, there was an orchid but the room just wasn’t appropriately appointed given what I was paying. I will be back in September I always have a lunch or two every summer at scalinatella and will continue to do so but probably stay in villas as I usually do when I return in September instead of scalinatella.

Location is good, staff good, beautiful pool. Very tasty restaurant by the pool. Overall I would rate the hotel pretty good, but.....

Cons:

Only one thing that made me a "No Go" to this Hotel for next visit as i am a frequent visitor for Capri. Specifically booked with 50% refund terms. Unfortunately then my doctor called and i had to shorten my trip for one day. On arrival they told me to contact booking.com for this. When Booking asked to refund 50% of the unused last day due to circumstances, the hotel said it was a mistake on booking.com rules and refused to refund as agreed by terms and conditions. Just this one small bad attitude changed the entire stay quality. I am sorry, but if I book by the terms, and pay 800+ euro per night, then there must be some respect to rules, and this was not acceptable to me. I still have some guidance in e-mail from booking.com who was very helpful on this matter, but I don't have time for this. So people, don't believe on whats written in your booking.com app as terms and conditions for refund.

Pros:

The hotel is very stylish, with a great atmosphere and an excellent location. The room was comfortable and beautifully designed, the breakfast was very good, and the staff was always kind and helpful, doing their best to assist with everything. Overall, a very pleasant experience

The hotel is perfectly located - on a quiet small street leading from the historical central square of Capri to Faraglioni. All sightseeing places like Augusto Gardens, the main square of Capri and others can be easily reached by walk. There are swimming pools overlooking the sea. The exterior and interior are very nice. The staff is friendly and ready to help.
