A standard city hotel
Pros:

My family had previously stayed at Humble House before, where this was my husband's and my first time staying at this property.

This is a very standard city hotel with an excellent location. You are in the heart of the Xinyi district, where all the food and shops are, and you are also within walking distance to the iconic 101 tower. The main lobby is on a separate level from the first-floor entry level, the public area is clean and comfortable, and the staff were courteous. Our room was standard, with a view of the Bellavita mall. We noticed the room upon first entry, did not smell fresh, and we could see the ceiling walls with dotted white paint scattered throughout, which was not the most pleasing to look at. The breakfast was normal with a decent spread and some local delicacies.

If you wish for a decent hotel with a prime location, Humble House does the job just fine; otherwise, nothing much to write home about.

Cons:

Uber Eats deliveries were not allowed upstairs, so I had to take two elevators just to go downstairs and collect the food. Additionally, the hotel lacked privacy; there were numerous people attending events in the same building gathering in the common areas. As a result, every time I entered or exited the hotel, I had to take two elevators, pass through the reception area, and walk through crowds of people.

Great spot in the heart of Xinyi. Agreable atmosphere with kind personnel, especially reception. Very good standard.

Cons:

Compared to last stay in 2017 I felt no remarkable changes/renovations. Furniture/carpet should be renovated. Breakfast much poorer than in 2017 (selection and quality). Unfortunately not really the luxury place any more it was then. Price-value therefore in my opinion not very good any more. Hopefully will improve/modernize the rooms.
