A quirky, well placed hotel with excellent staff. Spacious suite with nearly everything we needed. If different is your thing, this hotel will ht the spot. Park in the port carpark. Not many steps and not too far. Don't park by the old train station on a wednesday or saturday - market day. Brilliant breakfast.
Being Brtish, a kettle in the room would have been great but that's all really. Oh and maybe a wastebin in the bedroom not just the bathroom.Nit picking really

Petit bémol pour une fenêtre situé au dessus de la porte qui n’a pas de volets. Réveil matinal si vous n’avez pas de masque de nuit.
Αυτή ήταν η δεύτερη φορά που μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο «Ίλιον» και η εμπειρία μας ήταν για ακόμα μια φορά εξαιρετική. Το ξενοδοχείο ξεχωρίζει για το υπέροχο, παλιό παραδοσιακό του στυλ, που σε ταξιδεύει σε μια άλλη εποχή. Η διακόσμηση είναι προσεγμένη στην παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια, με τα κλασικά θέματα από τη μυθολογία να δίνουν έναν μοναδικό, αρχοντικό χαρακτήρα.
Αυτό όμως που μας κάνει να επιστρέφουμε είναι ότι είναι καθαρό και κυρίως είναι οι άνθρωποί του αρκετά ζεστοι. Η ιδιοκτήτρια και όλο το προσωπικό είναι απίστευτα ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι, κάνοντάς μας να νιώθουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Το συνιστουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
Το πρωινό του είναι αρκετό για να ξεκινήσεις τη μέρα σου, αν και θα θέλαμε μια λίγο μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία σε γλυκές επιλογές, όπως κάποιο κέικ ή κρουασάν.

La decoración del hotel es muy cuidada, de estilo veneciano, con muchas pinturas y objetos decorativos.

No está adaptado para personas con movilidad reducida, hay bastantes escaleras para entrar al hotel y ya dentro hay más escaleras para subir a las habitaciones

Old town, special memories and the only way to see Nafplio unless you are in a superyacht!
We didn’t fully understand the distance to walk and how far away the parking really is.
Incredibly beautiful 16th-century building renovated into a comfortable hotel in the heart of stunning Napflio! Definitely took some work to haul our suitcases in (cars cannot directly access the hotel) but very worth it. Great breakfast, wonderful service, and the feeling of being in a Renaissance painting was so cool. Location is also excellent, we walked everywhere for meals and shopping, and parked our car in a convenient free lot that was close by.

לא מרגיש נקי, אין באמת חניה, שומעים הכל בין החדרים, אין בידוד רעש, המון מדרגות….

Λόγω παλαιότητας κτιρίου, αρκετά μεγάλη η υγρασία , ιδιαίτερα εμφανής στους τοίχους!!!!
