The beach is great, town is quaint, and lots to do within walking distance.
Room is a bit tight
They charge $125 for early check in between 2-4 pm. Glass doors throughout property always dirty. No breakfast on site. Housekeeping by request only. Restaurant food okay not great. Pool water cloudy. Lots of kids in pool.
Could be cleaner in general areas like glass doors.
Julie was Awesome!!!!soooo sad she is going back to schoool, hope she is back next year🤞🤞🤞
Had a great stay at Pleasant View last weekend! Everything was comfortable and we had a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Rame, the houseman, who was very helpful with our luggage. Would definitely stay here again!
The location is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the beach. All the staff are wonderful including front desk, restaurant staff and housekeepers.
The rooms are very small and the furnishings and linens are like what you would expect from a much cheaper price hotel.
Perfect location right on the beach, rooms were new and colorful
Limited parking, confusing to find room
If you ever go to misquamicut beach make sure you stop into Pleasant view and go to bar and see Danielle the bartender ! What a great time we had !! Awsome service and a lot of fun ! Spot on !!
It was right on the beach. The staff is very friendly.
Could use some upgrades. For the price I would expect the water pressure to be better, doors to close fully, better TV options (such as streaming capabilities). No outside shower to rinse off from the beach. The pool was not clean.
I stopped in for some fish and chips after work recently and was greeted by Juliana, my server. She was very polite, accommodating and quite professional! Obviously this wasnt her first rodeo with her job. Though the bar was relatively quiet at that time, the woman never stopped working while at the same time tending to my order. The PV got a good one with this server and I look forward to stopping in again soon for my fish and chips. Thank you for a very nice and relaxing time. I live locally and my dad was a regular at the PV back in the day but Id only gone in less than a handful of times. This was a very comfortable experience! I WILL be back!
This is one of those hotels where whether it’s “worth it” depends entirely on what you value.
At around $800 a night in peak season, the price puts it in the company of truly luxury hotels.
I’ve actually paid less for rooms at the Venetian in Las Vegas. If you’re expecting that same level of polished, high-end accommodations, you’ll probably leave disappointed.
Our room had clearly been updated and was bright, comfortable, and inviting. The bathroom, however, not so much.
Some of the floor tile was peeling, and one of the ceiling tiles had shifted enough that you could see the dark space above it. Those details felt out of place at this price point.
That said, you are paying for something very specific: a location that is almost impossible to beat. We parked easily, walked directly onto a quiet stretch of beach, and fell asleep each night with the sound of the waves coming through the open balcony door. That experience felt rare.
The restaurant was perfectly fine, good enough, but not memorable.
When I think back on the trip, I don’t think about the bathroom. I think the balcony, the sound of the ocean, and how close we were to the beach. Even with rainy weather during peak season, I don’t regret spending the money.
If luxury finishes are what matter most to you, I’d probably look elsewhere. If your priority is an unbeatable beachfront location where the ocean is the main attraction, this hotel delivers exactly that.
