Gilleleje Hotel was a good choice of location to dicover this area of Danemark.
Pros:

A charming hotel by t he sea, with a vintage feel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast delicious and generous with the europeen quality. The location is perfect, close to a few small villages and a beautiful view on the sea. The hotel has a spa for guest, wich was a nice suprise!

aftensmad, det vi fik (kalvefillet, og tilbehør,meget dårligt, kalv , mega sejt, og vi havde en oplevelse af seje skosåler. ikke nogen god smag, vi fik også sejt asparges, underligt, mvh Jim og Lis

Beautiful coastal location, cosy rooms and quiet peace.
Pros:

The location is absolutely stunning! The afternoon coffee and cake on the terrasse a lovely treat (although it would have been even better if the cake wasn't the same two days in a row) The atmosphere and the decor is what you pay for - it is a sweet and cosy hotel. The breakfast is ok, but not varied and nothing special to be honest. The staff are super lovely, friendly and they all speak English. The room is very comfortable and quiet. We did miss a couple of plant pots on the balcony and something outside the hotel to sign post the entrance and more of a welcome. Would definitely go back but it's expensive for what it is - you pay for the Badehotel concept!

Cons:

The bathroom is basically a wet room and there is nowhere to store your toiletries and everything gets soaked once you're in the shower!

Hyggeligt hotel, men lidt for dyrt ift. faciliteter
Pros:

Rigtig god stemning, matador stemning. Rigtigt hyggeligt lille hotel. Det bedste er de fælles opholdsrum er virkelig gennemført. Og stilen er gennemført gammeldags badehotel.

Cons:

Vi synes personlig at sengene er lidt hård og dampbadet/sauna trænger til lidt opdatering. Morgen er ok, men ikke noget særligt.
Ift. hvad en overnatning koster, så er det alt for dyrt. Samlinger med andre hoteller som også har en god beliggenhed. Der er bestemt ikke noget wauw factor over hotelværelset, det er slidt og trænger til lidt af den stemning som der er på fælles området.

Un beau séjour (presque) comme au début du siècle passé !
Pros:

La vieille bâtisse au charme suranné. Les salons en bas avec cheminée, très cosy.
Le petit goûter offert vers 16h. Le petit déjeuner très complet et avec de bons produits.
À deux pas d’un chemin côtier. À cinq minutes en voiture du centre de Gilleleje.

Cons:

Certaines choses étaient un peu trop vieillottes et cassées, comme par exemple le bouton-interrupteur pour la lumière. Les chaises et table sur le balcon étaient assez sales; nous étions en début de saison (début avril), j’espère qu’ils les nettoient ensuite.

Nice hotel, too expensive
Pros:

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location

Cons:

First time we stayed in a big room with a comfortable bed, but no view and bad bathroom. The 2nd time we had a balcony with a view but the bed was tiny and very uncomfortable. First time we had a big tv, second time no tv. Also they charged 350 for our little dog who didn’t have any accidents…too steep!

Vi kommer igen. Fantastisk sted til en romantisk weekend. Virkelig value for money.
Pros:

Både middagen og morgemmad var super lækker og til topkarakter. God betjening og venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Fantastisk udsigt fra værelset. Restauranten er også værd at besøge selv om man ikke overnatter.
