The Highlands at Sugar

No AC available so we had to keep every window open to cool the place down. Which meant the wind would slam the blinds loudly against the windows or leave the blinds up so everyone could see in. Rain also got in and made the whole place damp and sticky, including the carpet. Ceiling fan was very squeaky and loud and we called maintenance three times to fix it and no one ever came. Downstairs couch is unsitable from how uncomfortable it is. Three tvs all inconsistent. Downstairs tv only got the local tv while master bedroom had streaming services.

Check in is extremely trusting as they leave everyone’s room key out to grab using the honor code. More signs that your room key to use the pool would be helpful. You’re expected to take out your own garbage to the dumpster as if housekeeping can’t do that.

Husband and I left a day early.

The property was extremely dirty with dust all over the floor, crumbs all on the floor. Dust around the bed. NO a/c. Stuffy and we couldn’t sleep. Left the next day.

As an elderly couple having to cary our luggage down two narrow stair flights was difficult. The toilet snd shower drains didn’t work properly, but the maintenance staff resolved the problem.

20 steps to our room. We are both 80 years and that made it terribly difficult everytime we had to go out.

Nothing, even the rain and clouds were beautiful to experience at that altitude.

First , we was suppose to be on the top level of the condo , we were located at the bottom level :( .
When we got to the condo there were bugs in every room literally . The kitchen had coffee in the sink and crumbs on the counter tops . And the commode was Filthy . And no means of ac / heat . And the fireplace did not function at all . The location was the perfect , however everything else not so much .

Could have had ice cube trays in frig, luggage rack in bedroom, coffee filters for coffee machine, salt and pepper in kitchen, standing toilet paper holder since wall is very inconvenient.

The property feels dated. Obvious updates have been done to the kitchen, bathroom, and flooring, but there is a noticeable aged appearance to the facility as a whole.

It’s old and not totally clean

The condo was outdated, but it was still nice. The shower faucet and handles were very loose from the wall. The TV's were not smart TVs and wd not go to Netflix or prime. Basic channels.

I have been charged from booking and from the highlands of sugar mountain. It was just supposed to be temporary but I am still not refunded yet. Never nice to be double charged

Mattress should be upgraded.

The fridge leaking, the upstairs people sounded like horses running, which made a light fixture fall and hit my grandson, the pool wasn't clean
