The Beach Tulum Hotel

Property is phenomenal. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Loved the private pool that the room came with and the chairs on the patio were so comfortable. The views of the beach and ocean were perfect. Oh, the food (both Ziggy's and Frescos) was spectacular. Everything was so good. We felt like we had the beach and property to ourselves.

Very friendly staff members, nicely decorated bohemian style rooms, hotel is beautifully decorated. I liked that the beach access had cabanas (shade from the sun). I would come around May, less tourists and you basically have the place to yourself.

Great service at breakfast from William and Maria. The food was delicious and always fresh.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ana y Jose Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcomed and cared for, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed.

We did experience a small issue with our room at the beginning of our stay, but the team handled it immediately and exceeded our expectations by quickly moving us to an upgraded room. Their professionalism and genuine desire to make sure we were comfortable made a huge difference and turned the situation into an even better experience.

The hotel itself is beautiful in a very intimate and traditional way. It has a charming boutique feel, peaceful atmosphere, and the perfect balance between luxury and authenticity. It felt like a true escape.

Breakfast every morning was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. A special thank you to María and William, who made our mornings feel extra special with their warmth and kindness. Their hospitality really stood out and added such a personal touch to our stay.

Also, do yourself a favor and book a massage with Tina. It was one of the best massages we’ve had , very intentional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Afterward, we felt completely reset and ready to spend the rest of the day relaxing in our private pool.

Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic, and genuinely welcoming stay in Tulum.

Atmosphere was very homely. All staff very caring and accommodating all my needs. Room was very clean. Ana y Jose was the only hotel in the neighborhood that was cleaning the beach from seaweed every day. Thank you Paulina. You made every morning feel genuinely warm and cared for. Thank you for your kindness, attention, and beautiful hospitality throughout my stay. Luise, thank you for organizing such a thoughtful early breakfast before my 6 a.m. departure, it made me feel truly cared for. Rafael, William, Omar, Maria, Mariana, Ronaldo thank you all for turning my breakfasts into a luxurious experience. Your kindness and attention made every morning feel special.

Confortable, good food, nice staff

Enjoyed out week at the ana y jose. Beautiful set up. Food and drink were great. Maria was our waitress and William. Enjoyed both! They play great music too!

Beautiful decour, amazing pool, lovely food (the breakfasts are unbelievable and the Camaron Aguachile to die for!), awesome service. Everything about it feels like a luxury and yet comfortable and relaxed.

The hotel was lovely. A little decadent, meaning it’s worn around the edges but it’s a great hotel w wonderful staff. Sadly sargassum seaweed has taken over the entire area so swimming in the ocean wasn’t an option.

Had the most amazing breakfast first morning in Mexico. Maria and Danielle looked after us exceptionally well. Perfect start to our Mexican adventures.

Lovely hotel. Rooms were spacious and had many amenities. The staff was very kind and helpful. Luis and William were excellent in the restaurant and made sure i ate well. The food was very good. Beach front location in Tulum. Small gym but at least they had one!! Would definitely return

The property was in a great location for what we wanted to do. Being right on the beach and able to see the water and hear the waves from our balcony or rooftop deck was fabulous. The staff were so kind and attentive. We did a private tequila tasting with Ivan, and he was so knowledgeable and fun. We highly recommend doing that activity while there.

Beautiful hotel, stunning location, wonderful food, incredible room, oh so comfortable bed, and the 2 patios with view of the pool/courtyard and the ocean are great. The stay included the best breakfast/brunch I have ever had at Frescos, with fresh everything, quality americanos, fresh fruit platter, so tasty smoothies, tasty omlettes, avocado toast, and more. The free Yoga classes are in a stunning yoga space, and the sauna, steam room and cold plunge was a pleasant surprise. I most appreciated the staff, David who helped us with our bags, and then so nice to talk to, Manuel on security who was able to track down the taxi after I left my wallet in it, Antonio our server at Frescos, and Yeli our cleaner - they were are all so nice, seemed to really enjoy their jobs, and really do make you feel welcome.
