Very clean, and beautiful building! I appreciated walking into a building that felt like a break from my day to day.

Home2 Suites by Hilton is truly a home away from home. Located in a prime area of Long Island City near Queens Plaza in Queens, it sports a breath-taking view of the Manhattan skyline in the midtown area, that includes the magnificent Empire State building. The Hotel is actually a studio apartment with a full-fledge kitchen, a large microwave, a large fridge, electric stove and conventional oven, toaster, utensils and implements, dishwasher, coffee maker---all these appliances are in excellent working condition. Lots of room with a large bed, sofa, a mobile kitchen-"counter" of sort, a decent open closet space also is provided.
Especially convenient is its pivotal location...just a couple of stations away from Manhattan on the E subway line. Also, W and N lines to 39th Avenue, L. I. City.
Housekeeping keeps the rooms spick-and-span. Continental breakfast is sumptuous (for a vegetarian like me, cereal, milk, fruits, juices, yogurt inasmuch as you could devour!).
Mention must be made of the front-desk personnel...particularly, Enzo, Jeff, Marko and all their colleagues who manage the Hotel in an exemplary way. They are all so polite, helpful, and provide pointers on the Hotel's neighborhood in Queens and Manhattan as well. There are convenience stores in the neighborhood, the savory Goodfellas' Pizzeria (only take-aways) on 40th Avenue, Laundry-Lab on Crescent Street are conveniently located in the vicinity.
There are no negatives, except that they may consider providing some vegetarian items in the breakfast.

It’s clean

Stayed 4 nights to visit NYC. What a great hotel!! Great staff. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a kitchenette which would be great for families. 4 minute walk to the Dutch Kills Station which takes you right to Times Square. Complimentary breakfast has hot eggs patties, hash browns, yogurt, cereal, pastries and make your own waffles. I also recommend John Brown BBQ which has a great outdoor patio and the best BBQ I've ever had. The rooftop restaurant at Vista Sky Lounge was also a great place to eat. The food was very good and the view of the skyline is breathtaking. A fantastic trip!

A pocos metros de varias paradas de metro que te llevan a manhattan en 10 minutos pero alejado de todo el caos de la isla.
Zona tranquila y segura.
El hotel tranquilo y sin multitudes como son los hoteles de Manhattan. Buena limpieza por parte de las chicas que hacian las habitaciones, muy respetuosas y educadas.
Desayuno incluido básico pero suficiente para empezar el día. Si se baja pronto a desayunar no hay problema para sentarse.

The hotel is very near to the W and N train line.

I rarely leave reviews, but the service staff at this hotel deserve recognition. Jefferson at the front desk started our stay off right by helping us find parking when their lot was listed full (he went to the security cameras and worked out a way to fit us). He later helped us change our reservation early enough to avoid fees when long stay plans changed by a day. The cleaning staff cleaned our room on the scheduled day -- even when we left the do not disturb sign up until 10:30 AM. At other hotels, we would have been skipped. And the breakfast staff kept the food full and the breakfast area clean in an NYC-level busy hotel -- not easy to do! The towels were SOFT, too, which means the management elects to change them frequently, ensuring a good guest experience. The water in the shower was very hot and had high pressure: two things that are premiums in NYC. All of this is evidence of a very well-run hotel in every position. We will be back if we ever stay in NYC again. (BTW, all the other stuff you read -- right next to train stations that make NYC easy to access -- are also true).

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its incredible team. During our arrival, a Hilton-wide system outage occurred, completely knocking out their digital check-in capabilities. Instead of letting this cause chaos, the staff sprang into action. They handled the entire situation manually, going through all the paperwork by hand and personally double-checking clean rooms to get guests settled.

A special shoutout goes to Jessica and her manager, Vonia, who were absolute lifesavers. Their professionalism, patience, and determination made a stressful technical glitch completely seamless for us.
