Pulitissima, tutto organizzato e molta tranquillità, la signora alla reception ci ha pure spiegato tutta la storia di padre pio, e ci ha spiegato come arrivare alla chiesa 10 e lode

Convenient and clean near to the sanctuary
Pros:

We have been several time at the Centro Spirituale Padre Pio. After having spend time in different hotels, it is our first choice when staying at San Giovanni Rotondo. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable. WiFi connection is reliable and fast.
There is a 3 course menu option at the restaurant for 25.- € that includes water and wine. The food was tasty.
Sufficient free parking is available which is a must, as parking is difficult to find on weekends.

Cons:

The equipment is rather basic There only two electric outlets in the room. The beds are fitted with linens, but as often seen in Italian hotels blankets are used instead of the more hygienic quilts with covers. No kettle and no comfortable relaxing chair in the room.
Breakfast options could be better. The 5 - 10 minutes walk to the sanctuary is steep.

My stay was great. Location is close to the shrine although it's a climb to get up there.
Pros:

The staff are kind, friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and well-kept

Cons:

The dinner. The fish didn't taste fresh, more like freezer-burned.
