- Breakfast offers wide variety and it was delicious. It is served at the cozy cafe "J.CO Reserve" in the 1F after going up the stairs from GF. Starting a day with delicious espresso style coffee is so pleasant thing. First of all, Indonesia is an exporter of cacao, so it's no wonder we can taste good coffee. Breakfast is not a buffet style, but there are various selection from the menu, continental breakfast, breads, Indonesian Nasi Goreng with chicken.
- I'm glad to enjoy a drip coffee by "J.CO Reserve" even at a room, as a welcome drink. So nice.
- Location is convenient - located at the southern part of Central Jakarta. "Grand Indonesia Mall", "Agora Mall", and "Bundaran HI" monument is within 10 mins walk. There is a currency exchange at B1F in Grand Indonesia Mall as well.
- Transportation access is also convenient - BNI City station, where Airport Express stops at, is within 10mins walk. Dukuh Atas BNI MRT station is within 5 mins walk.
- Many people even local residents say 'Jakarta does not have much to see' but there are nice stores and restaurants at the nearby shopping mall. Visiting "Pacific Place Mall" at business district by MRT is also a good choice.
- The room has universal type of electricity sockets, it was so helpful to charge the electricity smoothly.
- Front desk area was too simple to be noticed upon check in.
- Front desk looked after my luggage before check in, but they were unable to provide designated space but just placed at the floor near the front desk due to the simple structure.
- As written on Booking.com, this hotel does not accept cash.
- If you ask a local friend or colleague to pick you up by car, you should be aware of the urban traffic restriction by car plate number each day. Some cars cannot come in the area until 11 o'clock.
Great location, very friendly staff, and comfortable bed
The hotel is in need of renovation. The lift is old, and the carpets throughout are worn. Our room had an unpleasant smell, and the carpet and curtains need replacing. The shower also needs updating. The room was quite dark with poor lighting, making it hard to do makeup. There was no bottle opener, even after asking for two days.
