Treasury on Collins is our favourite 5 star Melbourne hotel.
Pros:

This Renovated 1800s bank consistantly delivers an amazing 5 star hotel experience. It starts with helpful and welcoming staff, continues with a wide range of inclusions. The inclusions that come to mind inlcude:

- Small touches like complentary bottled water and microwave popcorn in the room
- The free wine tasting for guests between 4-6pm is nothing short of amazing.
- The hot buffet breakfast is of the highest quality

In the past we have taken our family and used the two bedroom apartment which represents GREAT value. On this special occassion (34th Wedding anerversary) we opted for the large balcony room - great views. We will be back again for our next special get away.

You will not go wrong with this venue.

If we could give 10 stars we would. What a wonderful hotel. We stayed in a heritage queen room for 3 nights. The room was super clean, and super spacious, with a sunken lounge/kitchenette and a bathroom equipped with a washer/drier combo. Everything was thought of - it was like a 5 star hotel room with the amenities of an apartment. It was the staff and their level of service though that shone so brightly. From the free wine down happy hour, the access to free snacks and drinks all day, the fabulous breakfast (both in selection and quality), to the caring attitude of the staff. Everything made us feel like we had a home away from home. We were fortunate enough to score a 30% discount by booking directly though their website (saving about $180 compared to if we had booked through booking.com) Booking directly scored us the wine down perk as well. It is definitely worth booking directly with them. With such a hugely discounted room rate we were definitely spoiled. It will be almost impossible to consider staying anywhere else though next time we visit Melbourne! 😁

Loved the location. Appreciated how helpful the staff were. Loved the vibe, happy hour drinks, free popcorn, 24hr access to snacks and drinks. Good WiFi. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

Instructions for drop off could have been better.

Simply the best place to stay in CBD. So many special touches - the complimentary drink between 4-6pm, the free snack bar anytime, the beautiful daily breakfast, the spacious room.......Have stayed in Melbourne plenty of times but this was the best place to come back to at the end of the day. Not to mention the beautiful, historic building and plush decor.

This is one of the best places that we have stayed in Australia or overseas. Beautifully restored building, great location, lovely apartment style rooms, friendly, helpful staff, delicious buffet breakfast, free wine time daily and free top quality snacks and bottled water daily.
