The building was beautiful.
Location was a 10mins walk from the very centre of Melbourne, perfect. Trams were one Street away.

Pros:

Great Location, breakfast was surprising good lots of variety and plentyful, also liked the available snacks almost 24/7, was also nice to have netflix available just to chill out

Cons:

Carpet was not really clean some stains and smelt a bit funny, also would not rate the shower at all, I've got a bad knee and getting in and out was very dangerous for the me. Also the bar area wasn't really available on the weekend and the dinner area closed no indoor dinner option if not feeling well to go out.

Pros:

The breakfast was amazing with the food constantly topped up and staff were amazing. The snacks and free wine in the guest lounge were a wonderful surprise. The bottle of wine for my mum's birthday was also much appreciated and the handwritten card.

The hotel location is very central. The room was spacious, comfortable with additional little touches like games and irnaments.The extras like wind down and snacks were great but the best part was the comfortable mezzanine lounge area guests could read or spend time relaxing.

Central to verything, this beautiful building was a delightful place to stay.
Pros:

Beautiful historic building which is central to all the city has to offer. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Cons:

The bath/shower was hazardous to negotiate and extremely dangerous/slippery once wet. They need a non slip surface in the bath!
