Nice hotel with a great location and superb customer service.
Pros:

Great rooms, great location right in the heart of Avignon, and the staff was very helpful. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and he helped carry our bags upstairs and walked us to a nearby boulangerie that he personally recommended. We really appreciated the personal attention. We will be back.

Perfect in every way!
Pros:

We loved everything about Hotel de Garland! Peaceful location, exceptionally clean & very comfortable. It was less than a 10 minute walk from Avignon Central Train Station. We were able to drop off our bag and freshen up in their public room toilet before heading to the nearby Palace de Papes. Stephane & Clement were both great - very friendly & helpful. Highly, highly recommend!

Highly recommended
Pros:

The manager was one of the most helpful and friendly people I have ever met in a hotel, truly exceptional. He arranged our taxis to the train station, recommended a restaurant for our dinner - which turned out to be small, intimate and high quality. Nothing was too much trouble.

The number of stairs & that the lift comprised of a wire & strap that was hooked around my bag to be taken up the stairwell operated by a remote control. On departure there was no interest in helping in any way to get my bag down from the 4th floor, even using the odd ‘lift’ contraption - I was told it would be good for my health!!! Not good enough!
Breakfast was very light on for cereals & fruit.

Was much better thsn we expected and would definitely recommend.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and clean. Possibly the best nights sleep since we arrived. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.
