We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel de Garlande. The couple running the hotel were exceptionally welcoming and genuinely cared about making our visit enjoyable. They went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, from practical advice to excellent recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and hidden gems in Avignon.

The breakfast was another highlight, offering a generous selection of fresh, high-quality local products that gave us a great start. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel’s location is excellent—right in the heart of Avignon, with all the major sights, restaurants, and cafés within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring this beautiful city.

We highly recommend Hôtel de Garlande to anyone visiting Avignon and would happily stay here again.

Cómodo departamento bien ubicado en Avignon
Pros:

Muy bien ubicado. Muy amables las personas que estaban en recepción. Desayuno normal y habitación grande, más bien un departamento. Bien amoblado y cómoda.

Cons:

Me pareció que era más un arriendo de departamento que un hotel. El departamento estaba en un edificio adyacente lo que obligaba a ir y volver para tomar desayuno, recoger las llaves y ese tipo de cosas. No fue nada grave tampoco, pero no me acomodó mucho o no era lo que esperaba tal vez...

Excellent little hotel in the centre of the old town a few minutes walk from the train station. Room a little old fashioned but bed comfy and shower room excellent. Great Breakfast. Thank you Stephane and Clement for your help, friendliness and and especially advice on wonderful restaurants.

A wonderful stat!
Pros:

The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants, and the main attractions.

The host was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The air conditioning worked well, which was especially appreciated during the intense European heatwave, keeping the room cool and comfortable after a day of sightseeing. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We had a very pleasant stay.

Pros:

Nice hotel right in center of Avignon. Friendly staff and comfortable.

Cons:

Room was quite small but it worked fine. It has no elevators so you need to be aware that you carry your luggage up a small curved stairway. This wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others.

The owners manning front desk were very helpful and fully understand the needs of a Coeliac re breakfast which had great variety. Location was fantastic. No lift so ask for ground floor if needed.
