Cons:

The number of stairs & that the lift comprised of a wire & strap that was hooked around my bag to be taken up the stairwell operated by a remote control. On departure there was no interest in helping in any way to get my bag down from the 4th floor, even using the odd ‘lift’ contraption - I was told it would be good for my health!!! Not good enough!
Breakfast was very light on for cereals & fruit.

Was much better thsn we expected and would definitely recommend.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and clean. Possibly the best nights sleep since we arrived. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Excellent introduction into Avignon - placed in the center of town with quick access to everything.
Pros:

The hotel is charming having maintained a feeling of the old building with modern convenience. Host was very helpful. We did not eat so cannot comment on the breakfast but it looked lovely.

Cons:

Be prepared for quite narrow winding stairs - in room 12 we had quite the climb.

Perfect location for a fabulous city break!
Pros:

Everything. The owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
I had a nice comfortable room with a view, and enjoyed breakfast each morning.
Location could not be better; just a 5 min walk to Place de l’Horloge where I could enjoy a beer and an ice cream each afternoon after exploring this lovely city on foot.

Pros:

Lovely boutique hotel in heart of old Avignon. Kind hosts Stephane and Emmanuelle are very helpful in recommending restaurants and transportation options. Breakfast is excellent with variety of home-cooked items. Rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully appointed. Location is quiet pedestrian area with no cars except taxi. Double doors at entrance make you feel very secure at night. Due to historic status building has no elevator but the hosts help with luggage. Highly recommended

Traditional hotel making you feel welcome.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Centre of everything. Small touches like umbrellas on rainy days, good advice on restaurants and places to visit. Reception for most of the day. Friendly chats.

Cons:

Didn’t realise we’d be in ground floor so not much natural night but was ok. If I stay again, I’ll ask for an upstairs room looking out front. Still very satisfied with what we got though.
