Beim nächsten Besuch um Älmhult wieder Ikea-Hotel!
Pros:

Zimmer geräumig und super sauber. Bequemes Bett und das gesamte Hotel ist klimatisiert. Wir hatten gestern 29 Grad, da war das ein Traum! Große Wohnküche auf der Etage mit Kühlschrank & Gefrierschrank, Snack Automat. Und gratis Kaffee & Mineralwasser (mit und ohne Sprudel). Absolut komfortabel. Sehr nettes Personal, Frau Miranda sprach deutsch, total freundlich alle!

Zweckmäßig für einen vorübergehenden Aufenthalt ok.
Pros:

Leider wird nebenan abgerissen und es gibt Lärm, hätten wir gern vorher erfahren. Restaurant in einem Container ausgelagert.

Cons:

Keine Info zu den großen Bauarbeiten.

Rena och bra planerade rum.
Kan nog bli bra när det är färdigbyggt 2028.

Cons:

Tillfällig frukostrestaurang på andra sidan gatan.
Igen servering efter 2230.
Dålig lösning gällande laddning på parkering.

Good base for exploring the unique IKEA museum
Pros:

The room was decent, full of IKEA stuff - as expected. The bunk beds are fine for those who like the "scout camp" feeling. Good, roomy bathroom, with a slightly strange sliding door (less than perfect soundproofing, etc.). There are two common rooms with kitchen utensils, tea/coffee making facilities, and comfortable seating area. This was nice. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There is ongoing construction work on site. It is not immediately apparent where one should go/drive (we initially stopped at some obscure paying parking, with obscure paying rules - in Swedish only!). The current hotel seems to be a (decently implemented) container affair, but the expected "flair" and "charm" is simply not present (until the new hotel is finally built?). Also there is no breakfast / restaurant inside - you must walk a short distance to another "container" building. The own parking of the hotel (once we have finally found it) is constantly occupied by construction workers' cars, so finding a free spot borders on a miracle. Altogether, taking into account current inconveniences, the stay should probably be offered at slightly reduced prices, until the "real" hotel is opened again.

Prima ligging, prima kamers

Cons:

Er was niet duidelijk vermeld dat het hotel in een enorme verbouwing zit. Restaurant zit in tijdelijk noodgebouw, lounge is in verbouw, dus je bent echt op je hotelkamer aangewezen en dan is die, hoewel echt prima en schoon, erg beperkt.
