Pros:

Very nice looking place and very well managed. It was like a cultural experience that Ive never got. The rooms were very clean and service from the staff was great. Everything was more than adequate.

Cons:

Maybe the noise from upstairs time to time but this is inevitable I guess being an old building. Also I guess its part of the experience and didnt bother me too much.

Die Einrichtung und das Setup ist einmalig. Sehr schöne Details unterstreichen den ursprünglichen Charakter, der jederzeit spürbar ist.

Cons:

Es ist ein wenig hellhörig. Das liegt jedoch an der Art und Weise, wie dieses Gebäude eingeteilt ist und an den Original-Materialien. Man wird von Anfang an darauf hingewiesen, dass es hellhörig ist, also weiss man, worauf man sich einlässt. Es gibt einen Hinweis, dass ab 22h Ruhe sein soll, wenn alle sich daran halten, ist es absolut kein Problem.

Nice central location.

Cons:

Sound insulation of the room.......
Also the windows have no glass: if you open them to get light in, the heat comes in as well. If you keep them closed, you are in a very dark room

Pros:

とても大切に手入れされた建物でどのコーナーにもくつろげるコーナーがあり、居心地の良い空間でした。置かれている家具や絵も美しく、スタッフの方もとても親切でした。教えていただいたお店はどこも美味しかったです。規模もちょうど良く、静かで落ち着くことができます。

Cons:

ほとんどありません。しいて言うならシャワーヘッドが若干詰まり気味なのが少し気になったくらいです。

Pros:

Lovely stay at the East indies mansion. Staff were attentive. Nice touches like providing a different night time snack each time. It's a heritage building so there are no elevators but staff will help you with your luggage. Lovely and quiet inside despite the location.

Wonderful stay in historical house
Pros:

Great location, very spacious, beautifully decorated, clean rooms, nice snacks in the rooms, delicious breakfast (different every morning) and very kind staff

Cons:

Our daughter went into one of her brothers' bed as her bed was squeaking too much. The sofa in Clove 2 is a bit worn out.

Pros:

Rooms and common areas are Beautifully setup, very thoughtful with every details like where we can hang clothes in the bathroom.

Cons:

The foot path to the entrance is constantly blocked by a car and drains on the pavement made it very dangerous to walk into the front entrance

Pros:

De authenticiteit en de inrichting, echt zoals het vroeger was. Ze gingen uit hun weg om je welkom te voelen en zeer gedienstig. Mijn GF ontbijt werd op voorhand besproken en aangepast naar wens. Mix van westers, oosters, zoet en hartig. Aanrader als je niet graag de mainstream doet.
