Location just off Little India, only a few minutes walk to Georgetown attractions. We felt very looked after by staff members
. They went above and beyond to take care of us- even explained the attractions in Penang! Breakfasts provided were delicious. Beautiful decorations and courtyard. They also prepare your room for the night.

It was a beautiful restored old house. The rooms was very comfortable and the facilities were amazing. There was a kitchen available to store food and drink in and coffee and tea always available.
The staff were also so wonderful and did a turn down service leaving little snacks for us and a gift for our toddler.

The location. In the centre of Little India. The staff were exceptional. Kind and thoughtful but also professional.
The rooms are lovely but mine was very dark. Mo natural light. No windows other than a shutter that opened into a public space. There is no private fridge-there is a shared ‘hostel’ style large one in the kitchen. It is a VERY noisy building when full of guests. Yes, it is a heritage building and the timber ceiling above the Nutmeg room where I stayed is the floor for the room above. No soundproofing. A family moved in two days before I left and it was incredibly noisy. Footfalls, running, jumping and anything dropped above made for an unpleasant and restless nights’ sleep. I’ve slept in noisier hostels! I expected something quite classy and refined for the cost of the room.
Our stay was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Satya. All the amenities provided were very thoughtful and the rooms were always clean and cool. It's also located near a lot of great spots to eat and they even provided a list of recommendations and a map marked with sightseeing spots.

Pokój czysty i przestronny. Okna wychodzą na wewnętrzny dziedziniec ale przy temp. 33 st w cieniu i tak się ich nie otwiera.
Śniadanie skromne ale smaczne.
Nie było problemu z wcześniejszym wejściem do pokoju ani z pozostaniem o godzinę dłużej.
Das alte Haus wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und zum Hotel umgebaut und ermöglicht einen authentischen Aufenthalt in einer typischen Stadtvilla. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie auch die Fähre sind zu Fuss erreichbar und weil wir während Thaipusam in George Town waren, haben wir die Lage in Little India besonders geschätzt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und zugleich unaufdringlich. Jeden Morgen gab es ein besonderes Frühstück mit Spezialitäten aus den verschiedenen Kulturen der Stadt: mal indisch, mal chinesisch, mal englisch - immer mit frischen Früchten dazu.
Beautiful building. We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the ambiance, and the staff were amazing. The room didn't have a window to the outside, but that is part of the experience and the design of the building. There were plenty of areas to sit and relax. It was very peaceful. We were able to get tea each morning. Breakfast was available at an extra cost, however, we didn't take this option. Great location close to Little India and the interesting streets of the heritage area. The massage place next door was good too.

Very nice looking place and very well managed. It was like a cultural experience that Ive never got. The rooms were very clean and service from the staff was great. Everything was more than adequate.
Maybe the noise from upstairs time to time but this is inevitable I guess being an old building. Also I guess its part of the experience and didnt bother me too much.

Die Einrichtung und das Setup ist einmalig. Sehr schöne Details unterstreichen den ursprünglichen Charakter, der jederzeit spürbar ist.
Es ist ein wenig hellhörig. Das liegt jedoch an der Art und Weise, wie dieses Gebäude eingeteilt ist und an den Original-Materialien. Man wird von Anfang an darauf hingewiesen, dass es hellhörig ist, also weiss man, worauf man sich einlässt. Es gibt einen Hinweis, dass ab 22h Ruhe sein soll, wenn alle sich daran halten, ist es absolut kein Problem.
