Try this place
Pros:

Close to everything, shuttle so we saved money on parking, clean, our own little beach, quiet too. Loved it!

Great Stay!
Pros:

The location. The room. The beach. The cottage had a microwave, fridge. The A/C worked really well. The temperature in the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable. There was sufficient pillows, shampoo, soap, cups and towels!!!! Mr. Martin was wonderful! He upgraded us to a bigger, fabulous room.

Cons:

Honestly, everything was perfect. I would advise future guests that there is no Uber or taxis in Mackinaw City! Reserve a shuttle ride from Pellonston Airport ahead of time! The hubby and I walked from the cottage into town. It's about a 2-3 mile walk. Again, there is no Uber or Taxis! There are several restaurants within the walking distance. "Joanne's" make the most delicious doughnuts!

Pros:

Great beach view, very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

My only complaint is the screen door for the cabin we stayed in slams too loud and fast. It broke the skin on my ankle multiple times throughout my stay and the slam is very abrupt and loud.

Our experience here wasn’t what we had hoped for our 1st anniversary trip. Check in on the website says 4-9 and we recieved a call from Martin at 6:30 asking where we were as he was eager to close up since he’s been working 16 hour days since April. We were on the Island and felt as if we had to rush to get there. I had explained that the check out time on the website says it’s until 9 pm to which he stated the website wasn’t updated with the season hours. I called him back explaining we felt rushed and it didn’t seem fair for us to feel like we had to cut our vacation short, I asked if we went and found a room somewhere else if we would’ve been refunded so he could close up. He said no and then explained to take our time and he would wait and we were the last ones he was waiting on. We got there and he was nice and gave us some casino credits then went on to explain we weren’t getting the room we booked and paid for, he moved us to a different room which was tucked away in the “woods” which was a cabin with no lights or visible from the road because it was tucked in between 3 other cabins. Definitely not the cabin we thought we were booking by the water/beach. We had to walk a dark pathway to get there using our phone flashlights so we didn’t fall since there were no lights and the porch light was out on our cabin. I think our room was sold to someone else and he gave us this room instead. The whole situation felt off to us and didn't feel safe. Needless to say we were very disappointed and ended up not staying here for the night. We went somewhere else that could better accommodate us.

Great location with a very clean family friendly beach.
Pros:

Very clean property and the beach was great. Staff was very friendly. Cabin was cozy and close to everything.

Cons:

Really not even worth mentioning but the bathroom sink was literally the size of a shoebox, my wife couldn't even wash her face before bed.

Pros:

Beautiful cabin spacious well accommodating our needs. Peaceful and pleasant with beautiful views of Mackinaw Bridge Mackinaw Island right on the beach and lake. Very close to Mackinaw city. Relaxing and enjoyable weekend with Truck show and parade Saturday. Will recommend to friends. Manager was pleasant and made sure our weekend was nice and we had everything we needed.
