Relaxing stay in a fab location!
Pros:

Lovely room, all the staff we saw during our stay were excellent, great food and location.

Cons:

Pity they’ve closed the casino on board and replaced it with gaming consoles. Not the same so we gave it a miss. They could do with more sun loungers at the rooftop pool as it was impossible to get one!

Pros:

Breakfast was mostly good but could have been hotter.

Cons:

Some of the staff were genuinely miserable especially in the Gastrobar - one of the female staff in particular.

It was also nigh on impossible to get a drink after 11.30pm which is unusual for a 5 star holiday hotel and the provision of sunbeds is entirely inadequate for a holiday hotel.

Lovely
Pros:

The Sunborn is a spotlessly clean hotel in the marina of Gilbraltar, local bars and restaurants in walking distance, reception staff exceptional. Larger than average rooms, lovely shower, and good storage space.

loved the hotel but wouldn't go back as the pool was rubbish

it was clean good location but i needed a balcony to sit on not a ledge

Cons:

The swimming pool is ridiculous to get in and out of it's difficult for people very small pool and pool sun deck where u sunbathe had no umbrellas no shade

Pre 60 th birthday celebrations
Pros:

It was so authentic … even sounds of the sea playing in the corridors.
Staff extremely helpful
Plenty of Choice at breakfast inc cava too.
Large room with a very big comfortable bed & pillows

Upgraded for an extra £20 and well worth it !

Cons:

Pool - no one taking showers pre dip in the pool
Pool difficult to get into especially as I have 2 dislodged vertebrae’s so disappointed that I couldn’t cool down
Charged 0.75 p in addition to the £6 charge for 2 small bottles of water ordered at the aqua bar. Apparently service charge? But I went to the bar placed the order and took it to where I was sitting hmmmm?
