Always a great stay at the Sunborn
Pros:

We have stayed at the sunborn regularly over the years and have never been disappointed. The hotel is amazing with lovely staff and facilities, in a wonderful location. The welcome you receive on arrival makes you feel at home and the service is always brilliant.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay

The hotel/ boat was really pleasant to stay in. The location was great and the room/ cabin very comfortable and clean.

Beautiful yacht and great facilities.
Pros:

The Sunborn ship is a beautiful yacht with lovely facilities, a excellent restaurant and a great cocktail bar. We will undoubtedly book another trip aboard soon.

Cons:

Our room unfortunately was showing signs of wear , wardrobe door kept coming away in it's runners and the toilet door would not close properly. Despite this, we had a lovely stay aboard a really lovely ship

Absolutely first-class hotel with truly exceptional accommodation. The rooms are spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable, offering amazing views that really elevate the entire stay. The design and atmosphere give the impression of being on a luxury cruise ship, with a sleek, elegant feel throughout the property, yet with the added benefit of much larger and more open rooms.

Everything feels high-end and thoughtfully designed, from the layout to the overall ambiance.

Overall, this is an absolutely awesome hotel experience. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium stay with incredible views and spacious rooms.

Good but could be better
Pros:

Everything was good, the personel was nice and profesional. The location was perfect to visit Gibraltar.

Cons:

I think it's a bit too expensive for what you get. There is no real Spa just a sauna, and the breakfast is not very good.

Wir hatten mehr erwartet

Die Lage ist super, es gibt sehr viele Restaurants in der Umgebung und man ist sehr schnell in der Stadt.
Dazu ist eine Übernachtung auf einem Schiff immer etwas besonderes. Dazu war das Frühstück sehr gut

Cons:

Allgemein wirkt das Hotel heruntergekommen. An viele Stellen müsste investiert werden. Die Einrichtung war abgewohnt. Dazu wirkte das Schiff allgemein ungepflegt.
Weiter waren wir am Pool und es waren keine Handtücher mehr verfügbar. Auf Nachfrage hiess es, es gibt gleich wieder welche. Nach 30 Minuten haben wir nass den Pool verlassen, da es immer noch keine Handtücher gab.
Weiter war die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer defekt und hat das Zimmer in eine einsamer verwandelt. Wir mussten die Heizung auf 28 Grad stellen, um eine einigermassen angenehme Temperatur zu erreichen.
Leider mussten wir den Missstand mit der Klimaanlage selbst beim Check Out ansprechen. Es hat niemand danach gefragt, ob alles gepasst hat und ob es uns gefallen hat.
Für mich hat dieses Hotel keine 5 Sterne verdient
