Great place, But!!!! Booking on line £90 with breakfast included, when in reality it actually cost me £110

Very pleasant and would certainly stay again.
Pros:

The old oak tree was a lovely place to stay. The room was great and we had air conditioning which was wonderful in the heat so we had a good nights sleep. The food in the restaurant was very good with plenty of choice and good quality

Good location, close to Thirsk and room was a good size
Pros:

Good sized room and bathroom, comfortable bed with tea/coffee making facilities.

Cons:

It was very hot and they charge extra for the aircon unit (?), and no fan in the room either.

Enjoyable experience would stay again
Pros:

Only had dinner and breakfast, both were good. The room was clean and comfortable. On site parking a great bonus

Accommodation, location, excelled our expectations.
Pros:

Everything about are stay was more than we expected. Very generous portions with breakfast (included in price) and also evening meals we purchased. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, who were always very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Cannot fault this accommodation at all.

Another lovely weekend for Thirsk races.
Pros:

Everything was perfect, room was spacious & really nice. Breakfast excellent, ate in the restaurant one night & the food was delicious.
