Sehr zentrale Lage, ausserordentlich freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück

Cons:

Ich habe ein kompaktes Einzelzimmer gebucht, was auch für eine Person ausreichend ist. Das schmale Waschbecken mit dem seitlich angebrachten Wasserhahn erweist sich allerdings als völlig unpraktisch.

Perfect for a city getaway.
Pros:

Superb location, light airy modern rooms with amazing views.

Cons:

The cooked breakfast was only satisfactory. The Scandinavian & continental breakfasts were excellent.

I had a wonderful stay at Clarion Edge in Tromsø. Everything about the hotel was excellent—from the comfortable accommodations to the great service and welcoming atmosphere.

A special thank you to Heidi at the reception, who truly stood out. She went above and beyond to ensure that every issue or request was handled personally from start to finish until it was fully resolved. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made a real difference to our stay and exemplified outstanding customer service.

Thank you, Heidi, and the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Tromsø.

Great Location for the Midnight Sun Marathon
Pros:

We stayed at Clarion Hotel The Edge while participating in the Midnight Sun Marathon, and the location couldn't have been better. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the start and finish lines, making race day incredibly convenient.

There aren't a lot of hotel options in Tromsø, and this is a solid choice. Our room had an unusual layout, but it was spacious and comfortable. While the hotel is beginning to undergo renovations, it could still use some updating in certain areas. For example, the towels were quite thin and showed their age.

Breakfast was included with our stay and was one of the highlights. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and the breakfast staff were friendly, attentive, and kept everything well stocked.

Overall, while the hotel isn't luxurious, it offers a comfortable stay in an excellent location. If you're visiting Tromsø—especially for an event like the Midnight Sun Marathon—it's a good option and served our needs well.

Enjoyed this choice of hotel, would stay again if modernised!
Pros:

Friendly staff at reception and elsewhere. Great Location and great view from room.

Cons:

Room was clean and comfortable but was 'tired' and needed upgrading. Hallways and lifts were shabby and needed maintenance and upgrading. Breakfast was ok but needed chef to make fresh eggs/omelettes etc. Ran out of orange juice and other things. Also should be open until at least 10.30 as this is a vacation destination after all!?!
