Nice spread off breakfast and good location.
More hanger hooks in bathroom
Positive aspects:
1. Location (central and very close to the meeting points for guided tours)
2. Breakfast (even though the dessert options were somewhat limited)
This was my second stay at this hotel (the first visit was 8 years ago), and I can say that while I gave it a 9.2 rating the first time, I now feel that things have deteriorated—even though, as I understand it, a renovation of the hotel has just been completed.
Two more significant negative points:
1. Noise in the room: both the ventilation system (which produced a loud, high-pitched, whistling sound every few hours—including at night) and the plumbing (water pipes in the walls made an annoying clicking/tapping noise whenever they were in use - not just by us). We only stayed for a few nights, but for a longer stay, this would definitely have been a major drawback.
2. The rather low temperature in the room (with no way to set it to a higher level). This was actually the only inconvenience we experienced on our first stay and I had hoped they fixed it by now.
Two less significant negative points:
1. Lack of a view from the room, even though we had a "deluxe double room."
2. Lack of towel hooks in the bathroom (there were two hooks, but they were small and positioned at an inconvenient height for large bath towels).
I liked everything, the location is excellent, the included breakfast was spectacular, the cleanliness was impeccable and the employees were very friendly.

Great location with amazing views of Tromso. Breakfast spread was amazing. Andrea at the reception was very kind and efficient.

The location is great. Near the cruise port and city center.
The television remains nonfunctional. After contacting reception five or six times to request assistance and repairs, no action has occurred.
