The staff are exceptional friendly helpful, breakfast is to die for amazing tasty food, location is on point right on the sea front amazing hotel over all
My only thing I’d say is the bathroom in my room was tiny and dated an needs a revamp an some shelving in there or something as there’s nowhere to put things
Good location. Breakfast good. Staff helpful
Rooms to warm with no air conditioner. Car park small for number of rooms. No evening meals served on site.
The hotel was very dog friendly. The stylish decor of the bedrooms, the comfortable bed and modern touch sensitive light switches. Nice breakfast at "Brig Y Don" and nice evening meal at the "The Merrion".
No cabaret and no evening meals, although their sister hotel "The Merrion" catered for Brig Y Don guests and their dogs in separate dog friendly seating area.
Very good location. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.
It would have been nice to have an option for food in the evening. At the end of a busy day we sometimes would love to have stayed in and had food at the hotel.
Location was nice
Cleanliness
Good location, breakfast was good as
The one English guy at the reception was very unhelpful and on my check in he seemed like I was actually bothering him by my arrival and was very unhelpful in trying to navigate my way to the back to pack my car. He just produced a black and white areal photo like which I could not even understand for me to follow.
The other staff were actually very friendly and tried to help whenever they can.
Breakfast was excellent.
Bit out dated
Excellent hotel and wonderful breakfast ,Comfortable bed and wonderful staff
Location was amazing along with the hotel itself. Lovely room, view from the window, comfy beds and pillows. Hot water, complimentary tea/coffee/toiletries were great. Lovely breakfast. Dog was welcome to come. Everything was nice and clean and bright. Parking to the rear.
Inbuilt lock on room door is very easy for a child to open from the inside. It wasn't an issue as we just pushed a bed against it at night but an additional hatch out of chidrens reach would be perfect.
The hotel was clean, the staff welcoming and helpful and the location is convenient for the beach, the pier and the shops (everything within a very short walking distance). The breakfast is very good. I'm glad we paid a little extra for a superior triple room with a sea view (although there were just the 2 of us). The room was quite spacious and the view over the sea front from the table and easy chairs placed in the bay window was superb. There was also more parking available than expected, though it did fill up during our stay. However with everything so near by, we did not need to move our car between arrival and departure.
The duvet was quite thick, meaning that we tended to remove and replace it during the mights, alternating between being too hot or too cold. However, this is a minor quibble given how good everything else about the hotel was.
Location. Breakfast.
Choice at the buffet breakfast was plentiful and excellent
We were on an upper floor, and water pressure in shower wa a little temperamental occasionally
Some of the staff wasn’t very helpful
Arrived at two and I couldn’t get my room till three not happy
location is the plus point with the hotel only ,b that's what there they are playing on.
Rooms provided are different from what is been boooking .com advert , wash room facilities are poor not not even upto the mark, shower pressure is so low.
