The breakfast outstanding lots of choice

Perfect location to town restaurants and pubs and seafront
Nothing to really dislike other than the bedroom was a tad hot and with the window open the seagulls are vocal all night but that’s not the hotels fault
Good friendly staff, hotel was spotlessly clean.Breakfast was excellent
Only complaint was the wi-fi was poor
The breakfast selection was excellent.
The outside seating area was disappointing ,it looks scruffy and uninviting . It needs a good power wash , a re-paint ,and couple of new ,bright parasols - that wouldn’t break the bank ! A cheap but effective solution!

Room, beds comfort, access, view, breakfast, free wifi and a fan that was supplied essential as the room was warm were all good as per many previous visits
Room 310 is a room allocated for 3 persons on the top/3rd floor.
The shower room is a little small with the toilet directly located on the rhs as the door entrance opens inwards to the lhs.
This means that if 3 persons are staying if you require privacy whilst using the toilet you need to enter the shower room, close the door behind you and then use the toilet. Beware of your knee caps if someone enters whilst using!!
The shower cubicle has a small entrance and l mentioned several concerns to the receptionist:
1 Bottom of the shower door was not secured in the runners.
2 Large overhead shower head is inoperative and the grab handle it is secured to loose.
3 Wall grable handle and combined toiletries holder was also loose,
4 The shower water pressure wasn't good.
A small niggle was no water bottles provided and cups/glasses provide for 2 persons, not 3 as booked.
Generally the room was good. The carpet fitting was a bit 'rough' around the edges and certain areas of this room and other areas of the hotel are starting to look a little tired.

Situation is nice on the main front. Polite staff.
Had to move rooms as my first room had a sewerage smell and was way too small. Had to leave early as the new room I was in was situated d around the back in full sunlight and was impossible to sleep in it was just way too hot. No air conditioning and didn't sleep for several nights. They did give me a small fan but it didn't help. Couldn't manage another night so didn't stay for the last evening. Overall was disappointed really could of been better
