The facility and location was absolutely amazing, their service was excellent.
Nothing
Beautiful house lovely garden
Too much dried flowers and other odd decorations
the setting is glorious and it was lovely to have the spa facilities. The bed was very comfy. The receptionists were courteous for such young staff.
I was not happy with the set price I paid for dinner. I chose the vegetarian option, as I am a vegetarian, of a celeriac steak, which seemed unfair to have to pay the same amount as those eating meat. Furthermore I had to pay extra for side vegetables, which were essential to the meal.
In the room, details such as the milk provided were in the uht packets that you would find in a premier inn. This kind of detail matters when you are paying the very high prices.
Also, £50 levy for a one hour late check out, and then separately a similar amount for an extra hour in the spa area, this seems usurious.
The whole gave a sense of less of luxury and more being brazen in charging over the odds.
The suite and the food
Quite a small spa and would benefit from an outdoor pool and garden space to sit around the bar and pool, hot tubs and pods ect
The location and grounds were absolutely perfect. Gym an spa were fantastic.
Some of the spa rooms were closed due to maintenance.
Beautiful and relaxing, the staff are amazing
nothing it was the perfect
Our stay at The Elms Spa was exceptional. After upgrading, our second room was excellent. Unfortunately, we had originally booked the Cozy Room, which we found to be suitable only for a solo business traveller. It was far too small and warm for a stay of more than one night, especially considering the price.
We decided to upgrade to the next room category, and it was much more spacious and comfortable, making it ideal for our two-night stay. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were fabulous, there's not much more to say! The hotel itself was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably clean, and the staff were brilliant throughout our stay.
Some areas of the gardens and the tennis court were a little run down, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. The spa facilities were excellent, and the spa staff were professional and welcoming. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend The Elms Spa,
The spa is housed in a glass building, which became incredibly hot during the daytime, especially during the hot spell when we visited. The pool was excellent, with the added bonus of a small hydrotherapy pool that extended outdoors. However, while there were a limited number of loungers inside, it would have been a real improvement to have additional loungers outside, allowing guests to relax in the fresh air while remaining close to the spa facilities. This would have made the spa experience much more comfortable during the warmer weather.
The decor and facilities are excellent and the breakfast and service superb
With the intense heat that England is experiencing, proper air conditioning is essential, the fancy Dyson fan was of little use
We stayed for one night to celebrate a friends birthday and booked an Opulent room as a little treat. Wow! What a room and what a hotel. Everything about the Elms is fabulous, the attention to detail in every aspect of this place is incredible and it made for a very memorable stay. We used the spa facilities on the morning of departure for an hour and I wished we had got longer to enjoy it all. We will certainly go back.
Nothing, everything was amazing.
