Great budget hotel near Santa Barbara
Pros:

This hotel is now known as Vagabond Inn-Carlinteria South. It’s actually no longer a Motel 6. It completely fit my requirements for a three nights stay near Santa Barbara. The hotels in Santa Barbara are ridiculously expensive. So if you go just down the coast about 15 minutes, you’re in Carpinteria. Very reasonable prices and it reminds me of how Santa Barbara used to be before it got all glam.
I arrived a little bit before check-in time, and I was greeted by Dot who was working the front desk. I immediately felt at ease in her presence. This is just a very simple, basic motel, but the price was right. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
It’s super close to the Albertsons, grocery store and a Starbucks and some other cool things in the shopping center that’s about a five minute walk away.

Awful business
Pros:

We stayed in the Studio 6 portion of the hotel. My experience with customer service was awful.
I booked a room for two nights for the family. It was nothing fancy but that would have been ok. I called two days before and tried to modify to one night. They said wait until check in. I tried to change at check in. They said wait until check out. At check out they told me to call a corporate number.
I have emailed and called and they have said I would receive a refund and yet it has been more than 6 months and nothing - no reply no contact no refund.
Don’t stay with this scamming hotel.

Great little motel in a great location.
Pros:

It’s extremely convenient to Linden Square and Carpinteria State Beach. Great value for a safe, clean place to stay.

Cons:

Motel 6 towels are always so thin and the pillows are always flat. However, the staff brought me extras anytime I asked.

Locatie was wel top. Eetgelegenheden dichtbij

Cons:

Ontzettend gehorig! Er zat gewoon een tussendeur in de kamer. Wij hebben gewoon de buurman de hele nacht horen snurken!
140 dollar voor 1 kamer betaald. Hoogste van ons hele trip in 22 dagen tijd, en tevens de minste motel
