Perfect place to stay aufter finishing the Pennine Way.
Great location for me at the end of the Pennine Way. Friendly staff and a good breakfast.
All goog
Perfect ending to the Pennine way, would highly recommend
Excellent welcome, comfortable room, lots of hot water, superb Sunday roast for dinner.
Poor breakfast.
Expensive for what it offers but we are a captive audience with limited options on a busy footpath .
Beautiful, peaceful location. Very welcoming hosts. Comfortable, spotless accomodation. Exceptional food.
Personal only: found bedroom a bit claustrophobic without an outside window.
A great place to celebrate completing the Pennine Way. I had a very peaceful and uncomfortable night. The food was good and the staff were extremely welcoming.
Location and we could bring our dogs
Breakfast was at 8 and we had to leave earlier.
Good food.
Tweed room was comfortable liked having a window to open.
The breakfast and location were excellent. We recommend the evening meal also. James, Julia and team were excellent hosts and made us fee very welcome.
The room was a bit hot. The skylight was the only way to let some air in.
It suited us for our walking holiday. Food at the pub was good although a little on the expensive side. Hosts were very helpful and nice.
The cost of the food and soft drinks added to the cost of the room but I guess in a small location you have to be thankful for the availability of the meals.
Great
Nothing really
Friendly inn with fantastic walking from the door. Pleaseant room with good hot water. Good pub food.
The ultimate location to stay when walking the Pennine Way as this is the official end and has the log book, certification and free half pint. Very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities and quality evening meal and breakfasts.
I couldn’t find any faults.
