Beautiful secluded small resort with amazing views and privacy.
Pros:

Beautiful secluded resort in a serene setting. Our suite was in the annex of the property , which was far enough from the main building to provide complete privacy, including the huge pool. We had fantastic views over the surrounding vineyards and beyond.

Cons:

Poor signage to find the property, considering it is hidden up in the hill among the vineyards.
At checkup the the reception staff completely ignored to provide details about the wellness centre.

Vacanza bellissima, a un soffio dal 10/10.
Pros:

Soggiorno fantastico! La location e la struttura sono davvero bellissime. Una menzione d'onore va al ristorante interno, assolutamente eccezionale per qualità e servizio. Nota di merito anche per la bellissima SPA: un ambiente perfetto per rilassarsi, ma ricordate che va tassativamente prenotata in anticipo, altrimenti non potrete accedere.

Cons:

Soggiorno nel complesso molto positivo, da 10/10 se non fosse per un piccolo dettaglio sul servizio food in piscina. Attualmente in una delle due piscine ci sono dei lavori in corso e manca il servizio bar (disguido comprensibile), mentre l'altra vasca offre il servizio bar a orari ridotti, con la possibilità di avere snack solo dalle 15:00 alle 18:00.

Il ristorante è adiacente alla piscina e, pur capendo la scelta di non servire piatti caldi o complessi a bordo vasca, è un peccato che sia mancata quella flessibilità in più nel permettere di consumare un'insalata o un club sandwich direttamente sul lettino. In questo modo la struttura ha perso l'opportunità di vendere un pranzo per quattro persone e diverse consumazioni. Resta comunque una bellissima vacanza: lo staff è super, basterebbe davvero questo piccolo accorgimento per raggiungere l'eccellenza.

Puro relax
Pros:

Altarocca Wine Resort è un luogo incantevole, adagiato sulle colline di Rocca Ripesena a pochi minuti da Orvieto. Appena arrivi capisci che qui il tempo rallenta: vigneti, uliveti e un silenzio che rende tutto subito romantico. Lo staff è il vero punto di forza. Attento, gentile e discreto, ti fa sentire accolto come a casa senza mai essere invadente. Ci hanno consigliato il tavolo più appartato per cena e ci hanno fatto scoprire i loro vini con una passione che si nota. A tavola si assaggia l’Umbria vera. Il ristorante Invinum Gourmet propone cucina locale curata, con prodotti del territorio e i vini della cantina Altarocca che sono una scoperta. Cenare con vista sulle colline al tramonto è un’esperienza che resta. La mattina inizia al meglio con una colazione abbondante, dolce e salata, con prodotti biologici e a km 0. Ci siamo seduti fuori più volte solo per goderci la vista sui filari. Il pomeriggio lo abbiamo passato tra le due piscine all’aperto, entrambe bellissime e molto curate. Una è perfetta per nuotare, l’altra è più da relax con lettini immersi nel verde. Vista vigneti, zero confusione, solo il sole e il suono della campagna: il modo ideale per staccare davvero. Se cercate pace, intimità di coppia e una base elegante vicino a Orvieto, qui la trovate.

בריכה בימים חמים היא שדרוג מצוין.

Schönes Resort für Geniesser.
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ganze Anlage inkl. Pool und Gym sehr sauber. Tolle Superior Suite mit schönem Blick auf Orvieto. Sehr reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück. Schöne neu renovierte Anlage.

Cons:

Abendessen mit eingeschränkter Auswahl und eher teuer. Etwas Abseits vom Zentrum Orvieto.

Nice but not with the cost.
Pros:

The bathroom was large and beautiful. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The pool temp and size were nice.

Cons:

The pool bar was closed. We would have to go to the main pool to have a bar. The room was a ways from there. We had to order ice, but staff was good to deliver. Restaurant is too expensive for dinner so we went off property. Steep tight roads to get there, but view is beautiful. Room rate is overpriced. Beds are slightly hard.

Beautiful hotel, amazing wine and lovely staff! Would highly recommend and we'd definitely return
Pros:

The location and scenery is incredibly beautiful. The views from the panoramic pool are particularly good and we preferred this to the other pool which doesn't have a view at all. The staff at the restaurant were so friendly and helpful and we really recommend the wine tasting which was such good value for money and we learnt so much!

Cons:

The food options on the weekend were quite limited as the restaurant menu stays the same on the weekends. This was a little disappointing because there are no other restaurants in close proximity to the hotel and we didn't want to have to drive into the old town for food necessarily.
