Could not enter the room before official check-in time, limited services and unusual decor, however overall good stay even if it was expensive, I guess it is New York.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!
They WOULDN'T accommodate my CHILD 12yrs. of age... and NOT ONLY that, the Hotel would NOT add her to the budget and outside became dark @ about an hour... WE WERE STRANDED from outside of the state, from Massachusetts! Without any care nor advice/referrels to other hotels around the area! ALL WOMEN @ NITE in NYC STRANDED!!! NEVER BOOK HERE and THE HOTEL itself was an ACTUAL ZOO of exotic "somethings" in CLOUDY TANKS, OFF PUTTING!!! A HOT MESS!!! JUNKY & UNSAFE!!! Customer Service = 0... argued with us being nervous about our hunt for OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS.
While the decor was interesting to say the least, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It was also close to the US Open so that was a massive plus!
The decor was very tacky and all over the place. The shower was ok and there was only antenna TV. Not the end of the world, but could’ve been better.

Good location for us to walk to the US Open tennis, very clean, comfortable bed, good shower, very helpful staff. Easy access to get to Manhattan, Laguardia, JFK.. This is a quirky place with so much more character than a beige modern hotel and should be in a movie. No catering on site that we could see, but the surrounding neighbourhood of Corona had plenty of authentic cuisine to spare and a fab Italian (Park Side). It won't suit everyone but for 2 nights we loved it and felt we got a real slice of NYC life.

It didn't bother us but there is no public bar/catering on site that we saw. There's nothing scenic about the hotel's location.

We were placed by the construction area and freeway. We should have been placed on the other side of the wind . OR change the windows to double pane
The room was clean and comfortable. All the facilities were well kept, and the staff was always helpful. Plus the free coffee/tea was a nice touch.
