Clean. Great breakfast. Great staff.
Nothing , apart from the hill & parking was tight.

Pillows and bed slightly too hard for us personally. Parking not great.
We had a spacious room with a lovely sea view.
Stayed in The Bungalow. The views were exceptional especially at night with all the lights from the pier & town.
We self catered & the kitchen facilities were good. Large lounge over looking the bay four bedrooms which was great for a family holiday
Woke every morning by either Sheep or goats near by which my Grandson loved, and even a cheeky seagull who knocked on our door for breakfast every day - very funny.
Decor a little dated - needs possibly updating ie carpets & curtains
Car parking not great - not many spaces or turning room, as at top of hill.
Very steep hill up to hotel & quite a lot of concrete steps up to hotel & bungalow from car park. Older people or those with disabilities will struggle,

Located by the beachfront
In as much as the hotel is a victorian style, it is very dirty and does not seem well maintained. The carpets were old, dusty and had visible dirt stains everywhere. Everything in the hotel looks very old and dated. The rooms had an awful stench and there was hair stuck in one of the showers. Breakfast was served on dirty table cloths with visible dirt stains on the placemats. Everything was awful and looked dirty.
Needs renovating. Weaking water. Damaged walls dated
The buffet was not the biggest I have seen, however the food was fresh and good quality. The cooked part was excellent.
The furniture in our room did not offer enough storage.

Lovely friendly staff who were always positive and helpful. Breakfast selection was good. A great place to come away with our granddaughter.

The view
Breakfast poor. No soap or shampoo in bathroom. Bed uncomfortable. Whole place a bit dated. Parking very tight. This was supposed to be 4 star and in my opinion was anything but, 3 at very best.

The hotel was well located, with the cable car just over the way & the town including the pier at the bottom of the road the hotel is on. Great location for a family. The building is a beautiful old building and we liked the way it’s decorated inside to be in keeping with its age.
The staff were the stars of the show for us, from check in, to getting drinks at the bar, to breakfast & checking out the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was very clean too.
If we had to pick on something it would be the finish to the bedroom & bathroom. It’s a little dated and basic, it didn’t cause us any problem but a freshen up would go a long way.
