Everything was fantastic including all staff interactions
Lo staff era gentilissimo
The hotel was clean and rooms were well-designed. Location was great--Walking distance to Old Port, the wharves, sightseeing departure points, and excellent shops and restaurants. You are not far from drives to the lighthouse, Old Orchard Beach boardwalk, beaches, and more. There were tables in the lobby for after-dinner card games for my visiting family.
Location was prime- shops and restaurants surround the hotel and the waterfront is a few minutes walk. Welcoming and accommodating staff all around. Good breakfast- food options vary slightly each morning. Clean rooms. Valet parking was easy. Whole area is walkable.
Great location and staff. Nice room
Gym could be better
Location
Nice lobby
Friendly staff
Breakfast was chaos and low quality (check out Accor breakfasts)
Plastic cutlery - FFS
Room very tight for two beds and sofa bed
A bit expensive for the money
Great location in the old port. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend. The rooms were spacious and nice.
Nice hotel. Right on the heart of the Old Port district and close enough to downtown that you really don't need car if just exploring Portland. the hotel offers shuttle service within about a mile radius. Parking in the area is expensive. The hotel valet is the best deal, but still $45/day when we stayed.
Next time, I'll use mass transit or a shuttle from the airport and just rent a car for the day's I have a trip. the town's small enough that you can get around by bus, Uber, your feet, etc. If you do show up in a car, just go right to the valet parking in front of the hotel. The parking lot next to the hotel is $70 a day and no in and out privs!
The hotel was clean and everything worked as expected. We had a nice view of the harbor and islands and a balcony room which really added to our stay.
The buffet breakfast was as expected. The little quiches were nice and hot and the pastries fresh. I'm not a big breakfast person, but it was nice and included in the room fee.
Lots of street noise Saturday night, but you are right on a street with bars and night life and our room faced the street. It didn't bother us, but if that would bother you, consider a room on the other side of the hotel if you will be there on the weekend (though you give up the view).
The hotel is not cheap, but in line with other hotels in the area. It's just a desired spot to be. If I was passing through or by myself, I'd probably stay someplace cheaper. But we were on vacation and wanted to be able to walk from the hotel, so this was great. Given the other hotels in the area, I felt like we got a lot for what we paid.
I'll definitely stay here again!
Great location in Old Port a few steps from great dining, bars and other attractions. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, with sofa beds for families. Good value.
There was a problem with the electronics in our room. When the fix did not fix it, they graciously moved us to another room. They took good care of us as guests.
Our corner Peaks Island view room had spectacular views of the bay and the old port. Location was perfect and did not require a car as parking is expensive and limited. There were a lot of seagulls out on the balcony, therefore, it’s best to put away the outdoor cushions when not being used. A lot of great restaurants within walking distance.
Great location, very clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Awesome price!!!
