Good location in the heart of the city, staff was very helpful and friendly. The room has a good view of the mountain.
The spared pillows were placed at the top of a shelf, the shelf was not cleaned and the pillow cases are full of dust.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay at ibis Adelaide. After a 20-hour journey by flight, I arrived at the hotel and went straight to my room to rest. When I woke up at around 2:30 AM, I needed to take medication but found that there was no drinking water provided in the room.
I contacted reception, and I was advised to get water from the vending machine. Despite feeling unwell and having difficulty walking, I went to the vending machine, only to find that it was not working. In the end, I had to use water from the bathroom just to take my medicine.
I understand that bottled water may not always be provided, but in situations like this, especially late at night, guests should have a reliable option to access drinking water. The response from the staff and lack of support during this situation was disappointing and not what I expected after a long journey.
Very busy check in but concierge were very upbeat.
The bar and casual dining was very good.
I booked a room for myself and was looking forward to a big bed to sprawl out on but unfortunately 2 single beds in my room
