Nice Hotel, but poor communication
Pros:

Great use of a very old building. Very spacious rooms. Good breakfast

Cons:

I booked an evening meal at the restaurant, only to be told on arrival that the main restaurant was under renovations. The temporary dining room was not as classy and had a very small menu. It would have nice to have been told this situation.

Wifes Birthday Treat
Pros:

Stayed one night for my Wifes Birthday From phoning to enquire / book the help i received was excellant. On arrival the reception team were brilliant making us feel welcomed and very helpful. Without knowing we were given an upgrade on the room with bottle of wine and Birthday card. We used the Thermal Spa and cannot pick fault. Later on when back in the room my wife realised she had left her necklace in pocket of her gown during a Treatment and feared the worse, but nope the reception team went the extra mile and found the necklace. The breakfast team and bar staff all very polite and interactive . The overall experience was totally Brilliant our only regret it was only for one night We will absolutely be back. Thankyou for making my wifes Birthday one to remember
