Amazing experience, what a hotel
Pros:

Hotel has been developed to a very high standard. The room was very spacious, and the staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Didn't like that the access to the spa area was restricted to two hours and was expensive. Car park car get full on certain days, and can cause issues.

Awkward
Pros:

Amazing looking hotel .

Cons:

On arrival told we were upgraded, once at the room
It was clear it was an “accessible room” with full accessible suite, the equipment was well used and disability friendly, more care home than luxury hotel feel .
We asked at the desk if we could have the room allocated pre upgrade but no room was available ironically.
We spoke with the hotel via email after, and their stance on this is “you get what your given basically “ and that the issue is that we booked through a third party ie booking .com.
Basically the bathroom was not fit for purpose as able bodied, especially with knee high miniature wheel chair access sink .

Pros:

Loved the size of our room , and the decor

Cons:

Due to the size of our room ( which was massive ) I would have liked a bath in our room aswell as a shower , nothing major really . Our room faced the carpark and main road which was a little loud early morning , if i went again i would choose a dock side room .

A beautiful stay a little out of Liverpool
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful. Quite unique and unlike anything I’ve stayed in before. Very large and spacious and its decor is impressive. It is of a very high standard.

Cons:

The location was just a little away from what we needed. The on-site spa was a little disappointing.

Always enjoyable but in need of a general refresh
Pros:

Staff are always very attentive, especially the bar staff, rooms are large and comfortable.

Cons:

We have been coming for years now, more recently it seems like the hotel needs a general refresh and update - carpets in the room in certain areas were dirty and worn out.
