Lovely hotel and lovely staff, could do with a few tweaks in the room
Pros:

Large comfy bed, amazing bath, beautiful decor and bar, great view, ball room was lovely and great staff!

Cons:

Our room was a little tired, the plastic skirting around the shower was cracked, the sealant was all orange and black and the carpet in the corner of the room was all moth eaten with large bare patches and the fridge wasn’t working so the milk in the morning for our coffee was on the turn.

Excellent. Shame we couldn’t use spa
Pros:

The view outside, rustic vibe and cleanliness

Cons:

The fact I couldn’t book maya blue at main reception or find out availability. Resulting in me missing out

Fantastic Stay!
Pros:

The staff were lovely. Plenty of parking.
The room was huge! Loved it! Fantastic bathroom too. We were overindulgent and had breakfast delivered to our room! It was fabulous.
Sadly we only stayed one night as we were there for a business meeting but if we ever return we would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

The only disappointment I had was that I contacted the spa through their website and set an email to book a reservation for use of the spa and we didn’t get a reply.
Not the hotel’s fault but it is part of it so a phone call would have been appreciated.

Fabulous stay in an excellent property
Pros:

The standard rooms are the biggest I've ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of hotels.
All staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient at their jobs
Breakfast and dinner were both very good
The place has a great vibe

Cons:

The only thing that would have been better is that if it was slightly closer to Liverpool town centre but it was only a 5-10 minute car ride away so no big deal
