Great location, but not so clean.
Pros:

The location was excellent. A taxi can’t drop you off in Front, but they could direct you how to get to it. It’s about a block in small streets. It was close to the bus, subway, and Gion District. I saw many geishas on my walk home to the hotel.

Cons:

It did not appear to be clean. The hallway carpets on the first floor and on the fourth floor (where I was staying) were very dirty. The rug and the rooms were dark, so it was hard to tell if it was clean or dirty. You were advised to wear slippers once entering the room. But the slippers seemed a little old. The bathroom area was very clean.

Pros:

Tout, la gentillesse du personnel, la décoration atypique, les chambres et salles de bain spacieuses. Il y a du café à disposition. L'emplacement est juste parfait. Le petit déjeuner japonais ajoute au charme de l'hôtel.

Sauberkeit, Rezeption nie besetzt. Völlig liebloser Frühstücksraum. Verdreckte Teppiche im gesamten Hotel. Verwahrlostes Inventar im Zimmer. Ecklige verschmutzte Betten. Alter verklebter Dreck an der Bettablage. Optisch abstossendes Badezimmer. Klimaanlage katastrophal, unsere 3er Gruppe musste den ganzen Tag niesen, Hsusstaubmilben, verdreckte ungewartete Klimaanlage????
Fotos auf Booking.com müssen aus Eröffnungszeiten stammen. Früstück war optisch nicht sehr ansehlich, Kaffee, Reis und Misosuppe war passabel.

It was very comfortable and ideally located for a great price. I’ll be staying here again.
Pros:

The location was perfect, close to transit and very close to many great tourist locations. It was very comfortable and spacious at a really good price. Free breakfast was amazing.
