Clean and quiet with comfortable rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location, not far from all attractions: botanical garden, thermal pools and hot springs.
Very quiet at night, you can sleep well without anu sound from outside.
Rooms were large and comfortable, especially bed. Rooms have no A/C, but at the end of September, evenings and nights are cool enough, so you can open windows. There are also sliding mosquito net (as doors), so, no insects inside.
Hotel is a bit "outdated", but at the same time, everything was clean, repainted and all appliances were perfectly functional, at least in our room. So, we weren't there for technical inspection but for relax and this hotel gave us it in full :)

Very welcoming and friendly staff, especially lady/manager (sorry, forgot her name) in the restaurant :)
The breakfast buffet was also very good, the only thing, - choice could be wider, more diverse, but overall it was very OK.

Summary: very good hotel. Definitely recommend.

Staff, especially in the restaurant, were outstanding. Genuinely friendly, outgoing and helpful. Hotel is very well located within a 5 minute walk of central Furnas - excellent location. Rooms were basic but comfortable- there is no A/Cbut the evenings and nights were cool, so with the window open it was not an issue for us. Very quiet area at night - no loud traffic. Insect screens on the windows would have been appreciated, but only got 1 mosquito bite so maybe it isn’t a big deal. Pool was very nice and relaxing (unheated, but water temperature was good). Ample parking.

The breakfast buffet was also quite good. Lots of fresh fruit, breads, eggs and cheeses. Better than I had expected to be honest.

All in all, an excellent hotel. Highly recommend for Furnas.

After 8 days of trekking, I spent 4 wonderful days relaxing at this hotel, enjoying the geothermal springs, swimming in waterfalls, and taking in the beauty of the lake and Parque da Grená. It was the perfect place to rest and recharge.
The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly, smiling, and very professional. The room was lovely, and the hotel has been beautifully refreshed. The spacious lobby is very welcoming, and the pool is delightful, with a breathtaking view.
The location is fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant was also very good.
Our room had a beautiful view of the hills, with palm leaves right outside the window — almost within arm’s reach.
I am absolutely delighted with our stay and would happily come back!

The view is incredible

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Stadt auf einem kleinen Berg. Man hat eine top Aussicht und ist selbst zu Fuß innerhalb von max 10 min in der kleinen Innenstadt. Der Terra Nostra Park ist somit bspw. fußläufig zu erreichen.
Die Zimmer selbst sind sauber und das Frühstück bietet einiges an Auswahl.
Es gibt einen Billardtisch für alle.
