A wonderful surprise! Fantastic central location, within walking distance of almost everything, yet away from the crowds. Beautiful décor, comfortable rooms and a lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere, with a great mix of leisure and business travellers. Excellent value for money considering the location, comfort and overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay and would happily return!

Cons:

Breakfast was good, but a little more variety, particularly in the savoury options, would have been appreciated. Considering the price, the breakfast selection could be improved. Otherwise, very little to complain about!

Wonderful visit. Edinburgh is an exciting, beautiful city.
Pros:

Location, Location, Location. Overlooking Waverly Station. Close to Tram and Bus. Apple Store located 1st Floor (Yes, I needed it) Walking distance to main attractions of Edinburgh and numerous Restaurant choices. Room very comfortable and modern in a historical architecturally appealing building.

Cons:

Room size was typical for an inner city hotel. in other words, smaller. This was expected and truthfully was't a significant issue. Toilet facilities were a bit crowded and lacked space for toiletries. Again, not unexpected but you asked!!! The on location Lounge was limited but never really visited during our stay. Didn't notice any Food options on location.

Great staff and location
Pros:

A great welcome, the staff were very boyant and super helpful. The communal areas were a nice spot to be. Bedroom was comfortable and cosy and a great view.

Cons:

This was expensive, at £270/night, this did not feel like great value. It would be great if the quality of the breakfast could be improved. Things like juice and bread for toast were basic / low cost.

Overall, it was good.
Pros:

I like the location the hotel was at. It was very convenient to walk around in the downtown areas.

Cons:

I didn't like the bed. It wasn't very comfortable. Also, there was no restruant inside the hotel.
