A fantastic stay with amazing staff, a perfect location, and a welcoming atmosphere
Pros:

We stayed at The Oxford Hotel in Blackpool from 22/05/2026 to 25/05/2026 in Room 1 and honestly could not fault our stay — the hotel is spotlessly clean, has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable rooms with very comfortable beds, a fantastic well-stocked bar area with plenty of seating and a pool table, lovely outdoor seating at the front, karaoke entertainment in the evenings, and a downstairs restaurant offering a great choice of food. The location is absolutely perfect as everything is within easy walking distance including Blackpool Tower, the Winter Gardens, the pier, town centre, shops, bars, and attractions, which made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. What really made the stay special though was the amazing staff, especially Rothi, who went above and beyond for us throughout our stay by helping with anything we needed, keeping drinks cold behind the bar for us, providing a hairdryer when needed, and even rearranging rooms so we could extend our stay another night over the bank holiday weekend — nothing was ever too much trouble and we genuinely felt valued and looked after from start to finish, so we would highly recommend The Oxford Hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool and will definitely be returning ourselves.

Cons:

The only very minor negatives were that there weren’t enough power sockets near a mirror in the room, and the bathroom door didn’t fully close properly. However, these are small issues that could easily be fixed and certainly didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay.

Cheep grate location clean and comfortable
Pros:

The location was perfect parking in shopping centre 14 quid for 24 hours perfect 2 mins walk to car and as for access in Blackpool, it was directly in the middle of everything couldn’t ask for a better spot now don’t get me wrong the room was dated and a bit run down but clean and comfortable for 1 night let me checking early with no extra charge also had a big bar with pool table in back on bottom floor witch we did not use but had a look and was clean and nice

Cons:

Only thing I could say is only one double plug socket in the room witch to me no problem but to other may be and was very warm could do with a fan but again it was 25 degrees most of day and I had a top floor room

lean Comfortable & convenient location
Pros:

Location was perfect as we required to be in blackpool. Handy for shops and tourist attractions. A very attractive area of blackpool. Some really good restaurants nearby.

Cons:

Nothing. Would've been nice to stay longer.

It is pleasant and memorable
Pros:

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to the owner for being so welcoming and attentive to guests needs. Highly recommended for a pleasant and relaxing stay

Bathroom very small if we had been very large would not have got passed the sink to the toilet.

Last minute stay so had to take what was available
Pros:

It was ok. Not very good value for money - it was basic but expensive. It was a last minute booking and available as most other hotels were fully booked. I would have expected more for £81 not including breakfast

Excellent for groups & celebrations
Pros:

The staff were amazing. The bar area is fantastic and has been renovated. Went for my partners 40th with friends. We decorated a space & spent a few hours before going out enjoying the facilities, the staff were very accommodating. Perfect choice for those wanting to have a space to party.
The hotel has a restaurant the food was great value for money and for a quick bite. Also helpful in storing the birthday cake. Overall for the price its ideal for a base to explore.

Cons:

Some of the rooms are very dated however very clean. was told they are going to renovate. Guests above had left the shower door open and this caused some dripping from ceiling the staff were quick to sort

The location of this hotel was great for everything .
