A hidden gem in Amble
Pros:

It's in a good location with parking and the pub side is nice the food is good as well. The staff are really friendly. The breakfast was really nice and fresh cooked to order.

Cons:

The room was very warm but this is down the weather. There was a good fan provided though.

A great place to stay and a wonderful memory. Highly recommend Wellwood Arms!
Pros:

We chose to stay in Amble as it was near the famous Alnwick Castle. We were so pleased with the welcome and the overall enjoyment we got from the Wellwood Arms. Great location, easy to reach from the highway and close to the other sights we wanted to see. Room was a good size with a view over the courtyard and the beautiful flowers boxes. Just a short walk down to the harbour, with lovely views and fresh air. Comfortable room, big bathroom and the breakfast the next day was more than expected. A great place to stay and a wonderful memory. Highly recommend Wellwood Arms!

Pros:

Room rather small and plain. Noise all night from kitchen extractor fan. Window overlooked neighbours.
