Breakfast was fine had to wait a couple of times for more eggs to be cooked room was good as was location swimming pool was not heated thermal pool we knew was broken however had we known pool was so cold would not have booked it

The room was horrendously warm, the air conditioning was off, we had a fan - I complained, so they made out it could be reset, it still didn’t come on say they gave us another fan - all it did was circulate warm air, so our sleep was horrendous.
They gave the indication that the issue was isolated, but when I was in the lift going to the reception, I spoke to some other guests, so it looks like it was hotel wide. As my booking wasn’t cancellation restricted, then if I was communicating to then I would have cancelled and booked another hotel - it truly spoiled our stay - my intention is to email the manager, as I was given his card on checking-out, as I wish to complain, I feel some sort of refund should be offered

It was ok not the best I’ve stayed in a few Hilton’s before this was not the best at all

The fact I paid nearly £200 for one night for the plug in the bathroom to be Broke that was very disappointing and not living up to my expectations at all I was not very happy about it and someone checked it out and nothing happened about it the situation was not fixed

Stayed at the Double Tree Hilton with my husband. Lovely, clean and very welcoming hotel. Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Would like to say a special mention to Connie on Reception. Lovely lady, who welcomed us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed. Secondly, thank you to Hossam. Hossam was so friendly and professional ensuring our breakfast was a fantastic experience. Finally, I would like to mention Gary from maintenance. Lovely guy, who told us a little bit about the history of the building and the best places to eat and drink in Liverpool. Would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return with our boys next time.

Fantastic, would highly recommend
Pros:

I stayed at double tree Hilton with my wife which was vey welcoming and clean and tidy. I would like to thank Connie on reception, Hossam in the restaurant and Gary from maintenance who couldn’t have done enough for us and went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend.

My third time staying in a Doubletree Hilton hotel via booking.com and it was a great experience once again. Amazing location, 5 min walk to main shopping area. Great value for money. My room was clean and big, shower was also big and great pressure. Bed comfortable. When I come back to Liverpool I would definitely book into this hotel again

Cons:

I didn’t visit the spa, I do think that this should be free for hotel guests. It would be nice if the room had bottled water and a window you could open but these are not huge issues at all

Although the jacuzzi was out of use the pool was nice

Staff ignored me and my partner for 45 minutes at breakfast even tho no one else was there

Pros:

The hotel was conveniently situated close to train station and other transport. Also very close to museums, the ports, shopping and other amenities. There was a good choice for breakfast each day. We ate in the restaurant one night which was very good

Cons:

It got a bit noisy on the Saturday night, but I believe there was a wedding taking place .
No other complaints really. We did not use the spa or gym
