The dining room could do with decorating. The seating is ripped and worn, the wallpaper is coming off and bubbling next to bar

The reception area was clean
I only booked this hotel to use the pool. I didn't notice it was only open til 6pm. I got there before 6 but was told I couldn't use it as last entry was 4.30pm. this was not mentioned anywhere when I made the booking.
The TV in my room didn't work (poor signal), the carpet was stained, the hairdryer only blew cold air. The TV remote didn't have working batteries, not that I needed it after I discovered the TV didn't work. The mattress was so soft it must have been so old.
I would never recommend this hotel. I have a local Doubletree which is fabulous, so I don't know how this one is so bad.

Location was great
All systems were down, no phone lines, no access to room service. Took ‘hold’ payment for stay on 13th August and have still not returned it despite numerous different promises.
I liked where the hotel was located as it's near the center of Liverpool which I wanted and the bed was comfy which is always good.

Very nice room and very spacious. Breakfast was very good. Location fantastic.
Only problem was with the toilet, which was upstair from the bedroom. That in itself wasn't a problem. The only light switch was downstairs which turned on the bathroom light and the stairs. This meant a harsh bright light during the night if anyone wanted to use the bathroom.
