Comfortable small hotel, handy for train and ferry travellers.
Pros:

Excellent location for train and ferry travellers - very close to town centre restaurants and shops, but quiet.
Comfortable, clean room and ensuite, with easy to operate shower.
A member of staff carried my suitcase downstairs, which was appreciated!

Great for a short stay at a good price

Very convenient hotel for short stays.
Pros:

Location is fantastic; extremely near station, ferries, shops and cafes and on the flat, making movement of luggage easy.

Continental breakfasts very good value at £8.50.

Manageress very pleasant and chatty.

Cons:

Țhe small, single room was adequate in other ways, but had no drawers or wardrobe space, just four hangers. It was explained to me that most people stay only a night or two, but I was there for 5 nights and like to be able to unpack clothes.

The impersonal check-in, leaving named envelopes on a table, works fine, but means one gets no help with luggage upstairs to the bedrooms.

Pros:

Great place to stay, and very comfortable. Close to the centre of town, the railway station and ferry terminal. Would definately go back!

Cons:

The only thing I could say is that water pressure in the shower wasn't too good.
