Très bel hotel très bien situé, chambre confortable moderne et calme
Pros:

Très bel hôtel, chambre très spacieuse, lit confortable, calme, personnel très aimable et disponible, petit cadeau d'arrivée vraiment très attentionné, l'emplacement est parfait.

Cons:

Tout était parfait, si vraiment il faut trouver quelque chose à redire, la porte de douche laisse passer l'eau dans la salle de bain ce qui peut tremper le sol rapidement, mais rien d'important.

Good stay for our first trip to Paris
Pros:

Good location away from the main attractions making it a quieter area, but still relatively close enough for a long walk to many of them. Alternatively, it is a short walk to the metro station so everything was very easily reachable within a short train ride. A few decent restaurant options near by and a nice boulangerie across the street. Room was on the larger side by Parisian standards. Overall was fine for our 4 night stay. There is a mini fridge in the room and a complementary large bottle of water each day. Air conditioning is central to the building, so very limited control in the room other than fan speed. It got a little stuffy our last night, but we were able to open the windows which helped. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Good housekeeping. Room was kept very clean.

Cons:

The toilet is in a very small room separate from the bathroom which is pretty tight with a low ceiling. We are of average height and weight so it was ok for us but I can see it being an issue if you are a larger person. They need to get rid of the large awkward bathtub and use a shower stall for much better use of space.

The Chavanel is a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Paris.
Pros:

Location was good. Staff was excellent. All friendly and helpful without reservation. Clean and. Comfortable.

Cons:

The door to the refrigerator cabinet was off its hinges. Burned out light in the bathroom. Shower glass panel was an interesting idea but was insufficient to keep water from splashing into rest of the room. All minor issues. Nothing that caused us to dislike the hotel.

Kein 4 Sterne Hotel (Flur winzig)
Pros:

Personal sehr freundlich vorallem der junge Mann mit den schwarzen langen Haaren.. die Lage war gut. Das Frühstück ok.

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Der Flur zu den Zimmern ist winzig, hat kein einziges Fenster und wirkt extrem beklemmend – so etwas habe ich in einem Hotel noch nie gesehen. KEIN 4 Sterne. HOTEL..

​Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich im Keller. Zudem läuft auf dem Fernseher ausschließlich französisches Programm (kein Deutsch, kein Englisch) und eine Smartphone-Verbindung ist nicht möglich, sodass man abends ohne Französischkenntnisse keine Unterhaltung hat.
