It was an ok stay. Pricey. Don't know that we would stay again.
Pros:

We had a 3rd floor room that provided a view of the gardens and part of the lake. We were happy to have a balcony with a screen door. Also grateful for an elevator!

Cons:

It was so hot outside which mean our room was also very hot. Even with balcony door open and floor fan it was almost unbearable. Unfortunately it was also smoky from forest fires so with the balcony door open to try to cool things down we also had the smell of the smoke. We know the smoke issue is beyond the hotel's control. We didn't sleep much. Not a big deal but tv selection was not great.

Pros:

Mooie locatie aan het meer en tussen de bergen. Er is veel te doen: binnenzwembad, meer om te zwemmen. Tuin is mooi met vogels. Erbij zit een museum met ook oude treinen.

Cons:

Gehorige kamer/gang.

Pros:

Loved the nostalgic atmosphere and the history. We thought there were so many cool things to take in. We talked about how cool the place would have been even 50 years ago. Everyone should stay here at least once or make it a great overnight stop in your journey.

Cons:

Even though there isn't air conditioning, the rooms were comfortable.
