Loved there was a lake right on the property!
The food was absolutely so delicious!! my compliments to the chefs in the dining room.
Great location and view, and very friendly stuff
We liked the lake and the ghost town was very interesting. Rooms are clean and spacious, with balcony.
The hotel is closed to the highway which is very noisy throghout the whole night. Dinnes in the restaurant was very average, I asked about salmon to be prepared medium which was not possible. The wine was also nothing special.
EVERYTHING! The design of the hotel, the lobbies, the rooms, ghost town, the stunning gardens and views, an unreal place!!
Very quirky! Never stayed anywhere like it!
Nothing
Our stay was excellent! This hotel is perfect for families with kids. The beach is beautiful, the swimming pool is great, and there are so many activities to keep children entertained.
The museum was an extra charm! It made our stay even more special. My kids absolutely loved it!
We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to other families.
Absolutely beautiful! What a magical place with the lake/beach. The hotel itself looks gorgeous with the red roof tucked in the mountains. The ghost town is a fun place to visit - didn’t visit this last time but have been there several times in the past. Some of the staff is fantastic - like the girl who originally checked us in and Josh who was security in the evening.
The nickel and diming - there used to be free entry into the ghost town with an overnight stay and now half price. The coffee in the room is not great and the hotel doesn’t serve coffee until later in the morning - allowing one very small complimentary cup per person after that one has to pay over $3 a cup. The restaurant is overpriced and awful. Some of the staff were very grumpy.
Beautiful location with great access to the lake, pool and restaurant.
Rooms were a bit dated and no AC.
We have stayed at Three Valley Chateau many times and never been disappointed.
The ghost town, vintage cars and trains are super cool.
Amazing views from every room.
The hotel is a true to its origins as a family friendly place with ping pong, foosball and an awesome pool that give families opportunities to connect instead of being on their phones.
Be aware that the hotel does not have air conditioning.
Fans are provided that do the trick.
Location, staff, garden, facilities were all great
Very hot evening. Could have used air conditioning
Being right next door to the Old Ghost Town. If into photography at least 2.5 hours required. So much to see. Our room had a lovely outlook.
The Three Valley Lakes Chalet is a beautiful hotel it is like stepping back into the twenties of leisurely lifestyle. The location is second to none. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The restaurant has great food and the staff are friendly and efficient. We were treated like favourite family members. There is no air conditioning but the breeze off the lake made sleeping comfortable and we certainly did not feel a need for one.
The adjacent ghost town is amazing and needed more than the couple of hours we could devote to exploring it. We will definitely be back when travelling westward again.
That we were only there for one night.
