We went there for America's 250th birthday
Pros:

The beds were comfortable

Cons:

They put away the coffee too early and then it's $5 for a cup of coffee in a hotel the coffee should stay out as complimentary especially if we're paying that much money per night.

Great value in Washington DC
Pros:

Nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The connected restaurant offers good breakfast options, and the rooftop pool with its terrace is a great place to relax. There are convenience stores right next door, a public parking garage nearby, and a metro station within a 6–7 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with Ana providing especially outstanding service. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

One of the two elevators was out of service. The fire alarm was running in the middle of the day.
Housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway carpets at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Just the Facts
Pros:

One of two elevator was allowed to go bust for a while; room keys are funniky; pool on roof underwhelming (pictures included); paid $738.12 for 4 nights + $400 for incidentals (we will see how long these take to be returned) + we will see how much $ for adaptor to charge phone (not the whole charger with a wire, just the charger’s head).
