By far the best hotel i stayed at in Sri Lanka. Its got all necessary facilities, the rooms are spacious and super comfortable, the landscape is amazing and it's got such a relaxing feel. The buffet for dinner and breakfast is a dream! Thank you to the exceptional staff members!
This was our one night stop during our honeymoon trip. We met an amazing staff, expecially Ravidu Who took care of us during the stay and even made us a surprise for the dinner.

Lavish buffet, the dinner and lunch was the best from the 4 hotels we stayed at.
Overall if you dont stay at Chaarya lake resort ...you are missing out!!!

Norman the Manger speaks perfect English and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect.

Good location and not too far to Yala
Rooms are clean, comfy beds, huge bathroom and lots of toiletries.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and generally seem happy to work here.
Bar and pool area a great place to relax and enjoy.
Food options at buffets are diverse and good quality. Dessert bar is huge.

There was a very good spread of food. Thank you for letting us play at the pool table until 12 midnight . We really appreciate your service. We'll surely come next year as well

We stayed for only one night but we wanted to write a review about the 3 massuses who work there. 3 of us all had massages all at the same time from Ayeshi, Kasun and I’m sorry I can remember the other name. All 3 of us have said it is the best massages we have ever had. Highly recommend taking time out for yourself and visiting these 3 exceptional staff members

Stayed as part of island tour, only one night , all very pleasant, close to national park.
A truly special hotel with the kindest staff. One especially sweet waiter called Ravidu taught me and my group some Sri Lanka phrases. The hotel has a brilliant atmosphere with a lovely pool and restaurant; with it being in close proximity to the Yala national park, allowing for easy access to safaris and wildlife hunts. If you are in Yala, Chaarya resort is a must stay!
We stayed for two nights as part of a tour. Very nice hotel and grounds. Food is good and service is excellent. We arrived on evening, spent the morning in the hotel by the pool and were the only users (hotel provided towels). Outside bar open until midnight and AC in the room was v necessary and brilliant. Food included local and European dishes and we all good as we ate both. Been to a few places in SL and around the world and would return. A little spot of paradise and ideally located close to Yala National Park

I chose this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions i made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and treated with such elegance. The team had thoughtfully arranged everything so beautifully and made the evening feel incredibly special even without us requesting anything in advance.
It truly became the most memorable birthday evening. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was outstanding. A special mention to the Food and Beverages Manager Mr. Dhammika, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. He is truly a gem to the hotel.

We had a nice stay. Sadly for us just one night because we had a tour trip and needed to travel along. But we deffinatly could stay here for a longer time. The food was very good and the hospitallity of our host Ravidu was great.
