The hotel is beautiful from outside. The common area are wonderful. The swimming pool and the trees was magnifique.
There were dead insects in the room. The AC was not working the first night . They repaired it at 23:00 while we were in the room - they could have checked these earlier. same for my parents room - AC was leaking all night. the Toilets were smelly and they should have redone the joints - was leaking. We had a safety issue my daughter fell on the shower area on the head near the swimming pool..
From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptionally good to us. Ravidu in the restaurant served us. It was our honeymoon and he made it extra special by decorating our table.
The rooms were very clean and tidy also there was a turning down in the evening where they left a plate with chocolates on.
We had a lovely time there.
Entire staff is very good. Special Thanks to Mr. Lakmal & Mr. Ravidu. Mr. Lakmal' s service during our stay was very good.

It was awesome stay at Chaarya Resort, from the begining everything was perfect. The rooms were well cleaned and tidy. The room was very tasty, overoll all staff pretty amazing, the food was very tasty and Specially the Resurant staff was so frinendly and very attentive and hats off to Mr.Dammika(F&B Manager). We had an amazing stay at the resort. We had already been travelling for a week before we came to Yala so were pretty tired and just wanted to relax and stay in and the resort served as the perfect place for it. It had all the amenities in a top condition, the property was very peaceful and calm. We got upgraded to a condo which was nice. The customer service is top notch with quick response to any request whatsover. Coming to the food they had a huge spread varying from continental to asian to local cuisine. We were travelling with 2 vegetarians so the staff went put of the way to make sure that they had plenty of options to choose from. Special thanks to Ravidu from the restaurant for such a warm experience. Highly recommend.

By far the best hotel i stayed at in Sri Lanka. Its got all necessary facilities, the rooms are spacious and super comfortable, the landscape is amazing and it's got such a relaxing feel. The buffet for dinner and breakfast is a dream! Thank you to the exceptional staff members!
This was our one night stop during our honeymoon trip. We met an amazing staff, expecially Ravidu Who took care of us during the stay and even made us a surprise for the dinner.

Lavish buffet, the dinner and lunch was the best from the 4 hotels we stayed at.
Overall if you dont stay at Chaarya lake resort ...you are missing out!!!

Good location and not too far to Yala
Rooms are clean, comfy beds, huge bathroom and lots of toiletries.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and generally seem happy to work here.
Bar and pool area a great place to relax and enjoy.
Food options at buffets are diverse and good quality. Dessert bar is huge.
