Chaarya Resort & Spa - Yala

Very nice hotel. Pool well located. Large hotel have to walk far to some rooms. Good facilities. Food very nice. Good selection of Sri Lankan and western foods. Great hospitality!!!

While the room was comfortable , it had annoying level variations which makes difficult at night to approach toilet.
Apparently this resort is mostly patronized by whites and hence the food is suitable to their palates. As an Indian, I didn't like the food.
Yes, staff is polite and cooperative.

The rooms are surrounded by lily ponds and there is a good pool for relaxing. The staff are attentive and helpful and the restaurant is excellent. The accommodation is a spacious well equipped room and en suite that are beginning to show their age.

Nice staff, good service, good food and perfect stepping stone to start your safari to Yala National Park.

Great place to use as a base for exploring Yala national park and surrounding area.
Breakfast buffet is plentiful and staff are helpful.
Pool looked inviting but never used it. Rooms are large and clean and air conditioning is great after a day in the jeep.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality throughout my stay. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent throughout our visit. The entire staff was polite and welcoming, making our stay truly pleasant.

He made us the best coffee we’ve had, and his service was incredibly professional and courteous. His warm hospitality truly stood out, and we are grateful for the wonderful experience he provided. This was our third stay at Chaarya Resort & Spa, and it continues to be our go-to place whenever we visit Tissamaharama. The food is excellent, with a great variety and an impressive selection that caters to many different cuisines. The rooms, ambience, and facilities are wonderful and truly make you feel at home.

A special thank you to General Manager Mr. Norman, F&B Manager Mr. Dammika, and especially Mr. Ravindu, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality and outstanding service made our visit even more memorable.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Yala, whether for a stay or even just a meal. We will definitely be back again!

Ravidu was the first member of staff to really make a fantastic impression on us and made us feel so welcome! His level of service was outstanding from start to finish! A lovely hotel and if we are lucky enough to return to Sri Lanka, we would choose again to stay.

We only stayed one night as we were doing the yala safari.
Our room was lovely, but it was so far away o can’t understand why when the hotel looked half empty.
Being so far away we could not pick up the wifi. We had an early night as doing an early safari, but the noises from the workmen over the fence kept me awake till gone 1am.

The staff were all lovely in the resort and restaurant. The food was very average, luke warm except the stuff they cooked fresh which was lovely. But everything else felt not as good as other hotels we have stayed in so far in Sri Lanka.
I was going to mention this when I checked out but the last one reception did not seem at all interested in if we had a good time or not.

Amazing service and such a clean comfortable place to be. Food is exceptional..we were treated well by Ravidu who was very attentive and made sure our stay was pleasant and carefree. A very nice experience

This hotel is not for pure vegetarian and Jain tourists, All veg and non veg food is kept beside, there is no separate counter and they have no more options for veg food, we told to give fresh fruit but they refuse so I personally don’t suggest for veg people to go there, I also suggest all the travel companies not to take veg and Jain guests in this hotel

Great experience, especially the spa and the restaurant. My masseuse was amazing and Ravindu in the restaurant was lovely. He was very attentive and friendly.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that everyone in our family enjoyed. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our celebration even more special.

The Room size was OK and in room Jacuzzi was great.. The Room View was great and swimming pool and gym where a great.
