Awesome!!
Pros:

Its a vaule hotel, staff was friendly and very helpful. Especially Jerome D , he was the best. Helping us out with getting things we needed on the night shift. Thank you to all the staff. The breakfast staff was very helpful as well. They all made our trip to DC wonderful. Will recommend.

Won’t stay here again
Pros:

Close to the American Mall

Cons:

No parking—had to pay $15 a day to park. It advertised parking but didn’t say you had to pay extra and walk a block to park.
Also, the pillows were old and uncomfortable and the pull-out sofa was very uncomfortable

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Great location and convenient to stores and restaurants within walking distance, clean hotel, good size room with great view, nice staff, usual items on breakfast buffet. Overall, I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Pros:

This hotel did not meet my expected standards for a Hyatt property. Outward appearance was fine but the maintenance is clearly lagging.

Location; cleanliness, age of the rooms; bathroom quality and shower water pressure was poor. Bath towels the size of large hand towels!

It could be better with better management
Pros:

There are several areas that need significant improvement:

Valet Parking – There was only one valet attendant, resulting in a 15-minute wait. That is not an acceptable valet experience. Additionally, it was unclear where the vehicle was being stored. The attendant driving the vehicle barely spoke English, which raised concerns about communication and understanding traffic and safety procedures.
Room Cleanliness – The room was not properly cleaned. There was hair found on both the bed and in the bathroom, which is unacceptable for any hotel stay.
Remote Control Hygiene – The television remote control was sticky and visibly dirty, indicating poor sanitation standards.
Bathroom Installation Issues – The bathroom sink appears to have been installed improperly. Water leaks because the faucet is positioned too close to the edge instead of being centered over the sink.
Towel Storage Design – The towels are stored inside the shower area, which is unsanitary and poorly designed. Towels can easily become wet from shower use, defeating the purpose of keeping them clean and dry.

Uncomfortable, but decent location and good breakfast
Pros:

Decent location- close to red metro line
Ubers to most DC attractions easy and about a 10 min ride

Cons:

1. Bathroom door would not lock as lock was broken and front desk said that is how it is. As we were a family traveling, it was not comfortable
2. The shower head was not good! Forced water at speeds that hurt your body. All options on shower head were similarly uncomfortable to use. Common Hyatt...over 200 dollars a night charge should make stay more comfortable
3. There was some kind of a leak outside our window on 8th floor. Kept dripping and falling on a metallic structure all night creating a constant noise.
