Tattico per visitare il sud dell'Islanda.
Pros:

Vik è un piccolo paesotto. Dove tu ti trova sei comunque in centro. Ma Vik ha il grande pregio di essere in una posizione ottima per intraprendere la visita del Sud, di Dyrholaey, Reynisfjara, e più avanti la Diamond Beach, ecc. Purtroppo la scelta di alloggi a Vik o dintorni era scarsa, e ci siamo arresi a pagare 370.00 euro con la colazione inclusa, bagno privato, ma è sinceramente molto costoso per quello che offre. La struttura vecchiotta sembra essere un ostello trasformato in hotel. Camera grande, calda, arredamento vecchiotto, ma letti buoni. No TV. WiFi. Bagno piccolino ma funzionale, doccia con tenda. Colazione a buffet standard, niente di speciale. Non c'è la reception, si fa tutto con codici per entrare in camera e comunicazioni via mail. Nel corridoio del piano acqua calda, bollitore, per tè/caffè.
La compagnia di tours organizzati Troll.is, se può essere utile, si trova di fronte all'hotel.
Consigliamo il ristorante "The Soup Company" praticamente di fronte, la seconda minestra è inclusa nel prezzo. "Lava" è buonissima.

Cons:

No TV, no reception, poca attenzione al servizio della colazione. Costoso per quello che offre, ma è una zona molto turistica e quindi...

Pros:

The rooms and the bathroom were great. The breakfast was Ok. When something was empty it took quiet some time to be refilled but to be fair we were really early at the breakfast and there just too many people.

Keine Abstellflächen im Bad, keine Haken, um etwas aufzuhängen.
Pro Bett wäre ein Stuhl wünschenswert.

Pros:

Perfect location right in the middle of town. Free parking at the hotel was a bonus. Very good breakfast buffet. Code was sent to us by email for a seamless check in.

Cons:

The rooms were VERY warm even with the windows open. We were on second floor and there is no elevator so we had to carry bags up the stairs

Great location, good breakfast, quite pricey.
Pros:

Great location, good breakfast and there was a human being at the desk when we arrived.

Cons:

Limited parking and very expensive. The most expensive hotel we stayed at.

Parfait pour un roadtrip
Pros:

Bon petit déjeuner, chambre confortable

Cons:

Beaucoup de bruit la nuit du 7 septembre....une espèce d'usine face de l’hôtel qui a tourné une bonne partie de la nuit
Peu de contact avec le personnel

Pros:

Great place to stay for several days in Vik. The town was super small that you can walk around and there is a good soup restaurant nearby. The room was basic but had what we need. The breakfast was good with a normal selection. Free coffee, hot chocolate etc and the staff were all friendly.

Cons:

The shower is pretty wide open so the whole bathroom gets wet

Unterkunftsbezogen ein Reinfall!
Pros:

Zimmer sehr klein und schmuddelig, Bad ungepflegt und sehr klein, beim Frühstück waren die Eier schlecht bzw. nicht mehr zu essen (ich habe zwei verschiedene Stück probiert und der Hinweis an das Personal die Eier wegzugeben bzw. auszutauschen blieb reaktionslos, sodass andere Personen bewusst gesundheitlich gefährdet wurden!

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für dieses Zimmer stimmt ganz und gar nicht!
