Clean room, decent food at the restaurant.

Cons:

Nothing cozy, ugly rooms, incredibly uncomfortable beds, cheap duvet and pillows. Corridors like an old run down dormitory.

Wir waren vor 11 Jahren schon einmal hier. Warum wir wieder gekommen sind? Der Standort war für optimal: Skaftafell - Svartifoss, Vatnajökull - Jökulsarlon, Kirkjuberklaustur, Rundflug Skaftafell .... und ganz wichtig - so freundliche und entgegekommende MitarbeiterInnen im Haus. SUPER, KLASSE !!!!
Frühstück typisch nordisch/isländisch, eine exzellente kleinere Speisekarte am Abend.
Wir aßen jeden Abend im Haus. Probiert unbedingt den gebackenen Camembert!
Unbedingt Plätze für das Abendessen vorbestellen! Wenn die Busse kommen gibt es sonst keinen Platz.

Impression. The food was wonderful. The view was unparalleled and the hotel was easy to find.

Cons:

The beds were so uncomfortable. And details could have been cleaner. Example; the curtains had some black stains on them and the furnace was very dusty.

Wonderful! Great view from the room and we were lucky to have a gorgeous Northern Lights display!!
Pros:

The room was very pleasant and loved having a private, walk out deck, that you could walk off into a field. Made for great northern lights viewing!!! Nice view from the room. The restaurant was very good!

Cons:

The room was a bit on the pricey side. It would have been nice if coffee was included.
