Wonderful hospitality. The hotel staff welcomed us like home. Delicious breakfast. We also received a shuttle to the train because it was raining. If I return to Zermatt I would be happy to stay again.
The only thing I would like to improve is installing a door in the bathroom. There are two reasons for this, the first is privacy, the second is that anyone who enters the bathroom at night turns on the light and it is disturbing.
Le manque d'intimité dans la chambre. La baignoire et le lavabo donnait directement sur la chambre sans aucune séparation.

The staff were wonderful. We loved every minute of our 20th anniversary stay. The Matterhorn Lodge is a lovely hotel and well located. We would highly recommend staying here should your plans allow a stop in Zermatt.
