Motel 6-Portland, OR - Central

Completely run down. No coffee., no pictures on the wall. Stale cigarette smoke coverd by chemical perfumes. Cheap furniture with peeling veneer. Dirty floors, loose drain cover in bathroom with a huge hole underneath. Dont dare step foot in the discusting pool. The whole vibe of the place was of homeless drug addicts, alcholics, and cheap prostitutes.
I left without spending the night. Front desk would not refund my money after check-in. Just gross.
Not all Motel 6 are like this. This is the worst place I've ever experienced.

I always choose Motel6 everywhere I travel, but this was my worst experience. I found a hidden green stain on one of the pillows. It made me question whether the bedding had been changed properly before my stay.

The rooms dont have refrigerators or microwaves! I didnt even know that was a thing, I thought fridge & Microwaves were standard. We asked for extra towels and was only allowed 2, maid services had taken all our others. Also the police, medics, and fire department were there nightly.

The room was dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell. On top of that, the staff at the front desk were rude and unfriendly. Also, my room key didn’t work three times.

Filthy bedding all of the sheets had stains and dirty ,pillow cases stained ,blankets had huge round stains.
The room i booked wasn't given to me ,then was given a ADA room with only one bed said I could sleep in my car because they couldn't accommodate us (my son is paralyzed and needs total assistance) The office when I requested new clean bedding told me they didnt have any bedding for me to use,the women were prostituting out front of the office and drug use was apparent and homeless people loitering also car parked in front of our room took both handicap spaces but had no license plates ,temp plate or disable sticker.

Stained sheets and blankets, smelled like stale animal pee, bathroom fan didnt work(it actually popped off the wall when we turned it on), no fridge or microwave, crunchy towels, mildew in shower,poor lighting, TV set to store mode so there was only part of the screen available to watch, and the outside was littered with all kinds of trash.

It was mind blowing. I told him what he should do to make the facilities better. And how badly the situation was and the curtains were. And the owner was right there and it it was like through one ear and out the other. I was cleaning up super good to even convince my partner to stay there with me. And their cleaning crew bugged me before checkout time. And it really pissed me the hell off.

Office staff unfriendly, room smelled bad, floor was dirty, bed was squeaky and sagged badly. I ended up leaving and going to another motel.

The bathroom room 101 was not ada. The grab bar by shower was loose on bottom , toilet seat wobbly and exhaust fan did not work. Only stayed in that room 2 nights and moved to another. No refrigerator in 2nd room why not one in all rooms???
