Clean and close to freeway and stores.
Too many homeless transient people hanging around approaching you for money and cigarettes. The TV in my room was ready to die. You can see the bulbs in the TV and the picture was going dark.
Close to restaurants and shopping
Needs a little TLC the floors where dirty on arrival and the shower is a little on the small side.
Short notice availability.
Just because you paint doesn't mean it's better.
Quiet surroundings
When we got into the room, the floor was peeling up, the bed blankets had what looked like grease stairs/oil stains throughout it. There were bugs all around the bathroom, i had to wipe up some water off the floor and when I picked up the towel it was BLACK from the amount of dirt on the floor... and this wasn't even five minutes after arriving.
I dont expect much out of motel 6 in general, but at least clean the rooms.
Of course, the beds won't suit everyone's body type, but it was mostly comfortable. The room was very clean, that is a big one for us.

THE BEST ONE IN MEDFORD. Make sure its the NORTH side one tho.
Its legit man. Great place. Not a trap house.
It was very cheap compared to other similar motels in the area, and it had an inexpensive washer and dryer.
The shower curtain smelled very bad; I suggest you replace it with a new one.

The tv. No mica wave. No ref. No carpets.
